For every 10 Wii's sold, 7 aren't even being played

Didnt I just give both definitions?
That's your definition, we don't have to agree with it, and I doubt everyone does.

then i believe that the definition of nothing is something
That's great, I believe that, too. Because nothing IS something. It is nothing. That's what it is. Not to mention, nothing is a noun, so that makes it a thing. Some thing, to be specific.

:huh

Anyway, I agree with southern_squall. I'm sure people will get back to playing their Wiis when some more games hit. I think we all expected Metroid Prime 3 to be some awesome indicator, but we have to remember that Metroid is a niche franchise even among hardcore gamers. I think Super Mario Galaxy and next year SSBB will be better indicators for how well the Wii is doing among hardcore gamers.

enough with the hardcore crap you guys

games are games, they can be good, they can be bad, but in the end they are all just information burnt onto a disc.

Yeah I'm going to try and get Super Mario Galaxy for Christmas. But my Wii use will start when Fire Emblem comes out, and then continue through Thanksgiving (everyone loves Wii bowling).

well the last good game released for the wii was metroid prime 3 (or bleach shattered blades i think ) o its normal that people who already finished metroid are not playing anymore.

however FHQ is right those games he mentioned will be released soon and i hope they will not be a letdown like dragon blade (most of them i know they won't )

Ugh. Who cares? Nintendo is still pwning Sony in every aspect. That's all that matters.

Where did Nintendo vs Sony jump into this? I'll guarantee that at least more than 7 out of every 10 PS3's sold are being played....because of blu-ray/dvd playback and more games coming out. The Wii was just bought by a bunch of parents and some casual gamers. They got over the casual experience. Nintendo isn't God after all.

there are no "hardcore games" just hardcore gamers

That's not true, really... there can be hardcore games. Hardcore games are games that are created to be enjoyed by hardcore gamers. A gamer that is "hardcore" typically doesn't delve into just one game. Usually, hardcore gamers are into the hugely competitive games. Games like Halo 3, UT3 and Brawl could all theoretically be classified as "hardcore games" because they are very good competitive games.
