For those who shave

I was just wondering if any of you guys have any recommendations as far as electric razors or even some beard trimmers go? I have only used disposable for my face. I want to trim my beard with an electric but Ive never used one so I dont know which ones are any good.
 
I have an old school Norelco that just won't die. The wife says that I can't get a new one untill the old one goes belly up. I've had it since 1997.

What's that whipping noise I hear? :lol No but seriously that is a long time. Is it still as good as it was back when you first got it?
 
Ive got a norelco reflex plus Ive had it for a few years and it still works like new.


The only thing on it that would ever have to get replaced would be the head and they are a little expensive but they stay good for a long time

aww.. heck, I forget what I used. I use a razor a lot.... but electric... meh... I forget.

Nah. It's not to the point where it's ripping the hair from my face. It still cuts great, but not as great as the day I got it.

As for razors, I stopped when I realized that I would never figure out how not to slash my face up. Baby-butt-smooth skin has to be protected, man. :lol

Why don't you replace your blades? you should do that every 6 months :lol that is why the hair is getting ripped out of your face. Instead of cutting, your hair is getting caught and being pulled :lol :lol Nothing like having your entire face "plucked" :lol

Norelco....I asked for one for Christmas....and my mother end up buying some butter knife looking thing....it can't even shave nose hairs for godsakes!!

So this year, Im gonna make sure someone gets me a REAL Norelco

Yeah it doesn't rip the hair from my face. I'd cry like a baby if that were the case. And then turn into a big raspberry.

I used to shave, kinda had this goutee look going, but then I asked myself what the point was. I mean, is the midle of winter, I could use some hair on my face too. So yeah...but besides that I only used razors. For some reason I never trusted the electric.
 
well, I've nicked myself quite a few times and nothing bad ever happened. Though I did tend to bleed for a while...Still, nothing too bad happened.
 
Norelco, I always wanted one...even asked that for Christmast three times in a row....but never got it...maybe this year will do it..
