for you which developer = automatic purchase?

True. There's only so many hours you can hear me talking about Kotor's godliness, before you have to play it yourself. :lol
Yeah. I'm going to pick this game up again soon. >.<

I love Nintendo games as well..but lately, they've been shooting themselves in the foot. :-\
With Galaxy and Brawl, ammirite?

Those are two great games out of the...more than 20(?) Nintendo has made/published for the Wii thus far.
No large developer hits the nail on the head with every game. Plus, those aren't the only good Wii games Nintendo has made.

Plus, I wouldn't put much weight on Nintendo, or any company for that matter, publishing a game. Who is developing it is what matters.

Strubes was talking about lately. Almost, though.

I'm going to have to say you're wrong seeing as how I work for a video game publisher. They actually do have quite some say in what goes into development. They are the ones who sign the paychecks in the end.

Of course this could just be the company I work for and not others. But still my point stands.

At the very least, publishers are to blame when it comes to rushing games out.

True, but when you have a quality game, I would think most of the heavy lifting was done by the developers.

Yes they do but sometimes they are not necessarily that come up with the ideas. What good is a developer without any good game ideas? Again, that's not always the case. Just throwing that out there.

I'm just not too excited with the stuff Nintendo's been pumping out lately. Is that so wrong? Galaxy's good, and Brawl's going to be good too, but those are 2 out of the many games Nintendo's given us.

Yeah, but...what are the bad games?

When I say recently, I'm talking a little more recent then you're probably expecting. Some of these games are from launch. Some are from DS. Some are new. One thing's in common. They're from Nintendo. Now don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo games. I love Galaxy and such, but I'm just not as thrilled with the other stuff.

Zelda TP
Nintendogs (just not a fan)
Endless Ocean
Mario Party 8
Wii Play (minus the remote)
Pokemon Battle Revolution

Those are some I haven't been too pleased with. Now, since I know you'll fight this to the death like you do everything else, I'll leave this alone. It is what it is.

Hmm, touché. Much as it'll be weird for you to hear, I agree with that whole list. Nintendogs, less so, that's fun for a few weeks. And Endless Ocean. It's good.

Ah, well then I'll take back that last statement.

I just didn't like Endless Ocean much cause there wasn't a point to it. You just found a fish, "petted" it, and it showed you information on it.

Yeah, no real conflict there. I guess it was for the 90 year old grannies though. :P

Yeah, but it's for a relaxing experience, and you have to admit, it does do good with the Wii's main audience right now.

Yeah, that's why it let ME down. :lol

I'm not spending $40 on a relaxing experience either, unless it's a full body massage. 8)

I wouldn't spend $40 either, but it's definitely not a game to miss.
