FREE GAME FROM ROCKSTAR

I'm not a huge fan of Rockstar but I'm a fan of free and if anyone with a steam id that's purchased at least one game off of steam join rockstar's group and they'll give you a non-giftable copy of Midnight Club 2.

I meant to post this way back when it was announced but forgot. :H

It's supposedly not compatible with Windows Vista or 7, but I hear tales of a fan-made patch that makes it work.
 
Has anyone joined that group yet? I realize they said the game would be delievered before the end of may but I didn't see any kind of confirmation. Think the game will just show up?

Yep, same here. I just don't really like MC2, heh. I could not find an option to turn the resolution up and that really sucks. Also, the car physics and the game is just so old.. don't want to sound really stupid, but I couldn't really stand playing it for more than 10 minutes. :P

Ah, Midnight Club II is in my library now. I'll have to try it!

Funny thing is that I have a Midnight Club II PS2 game case with no game. I got it when a friend sold me his old PS2 and a bunch of games. I don't think he realized the case was empty. Being that this was back in 2006, I definitely didn't get ripped off considering it was a PS2 for $50 with two controllers and six or so games.
 
yeah I think I was more excited for the free game than actually playing it. I think I quit fooling with it because I couldn't get the 360 controller to work 100% with it, It could have been lack of trying..
 
Many people like to play game, but some one
