Frustration.... Snail... in Animal Crossing

Yeah, those little clumps of leaves that aren't flowers but aren't trees either. Like in this screenshot in the upper right corner.

Do you know what size they are ? IE are they larger than the pill bug? (I hope)

Then..... I have NEVER seen one in the 2 years I have played this game.

Trust me, I played this game a lot the 1st year as well.....

Played it again yesterday. No snail.

play it at 11:00am-12:30pm

I am pretty close to giving up on this. I swear, there is no snail in the game.

Just bring up the screen that shows you all the bugs you've caught, and draw a snail right into the empty spot with a magic marker. Then just "pretend" you've caught one!
 
If I ever decide to pick this up again, I'd have to start a new file. I swear its been at least a half a year since I've played this. I have a feeling I'll catch a snail just to spite you though if I do. :lol

I have a question, it is easy to unlock the NES games? And how much of them does it let you play?

It can be HARD to find some of the nes games.


I wonder... can we exchange items? I really want punchout - Nes, but I cannot find it.

Also, is the UK game different from the US game in any way? (extras?)

I think when you 1st get the game "Nintendo" sends your character a letter with some NES games in it. And yes, they're the full NES games :)

The others I think you had to get passwords that were hidden on the official site. Or you could try trading people for them.
 
I think Punch Out, Super Mario Bros., and the Legend of Zelda are special ones that you can only get with a Gameshark or Action Replay or something.

Nope, I think that both games are exactly the same. :) I just read into it and now I REALLY WANT THIS GAME!

Legend of Zelda..... and Super mario bros.... you might be right on those, BUT Punch out is in the guide book as "accessible"
I hear it is VERY VERY VERY hard to find though.

LOZ, and SMB.. I never even heard they could be in Animal Crossing.

Retro.... get the game, you will be addicted.... for at least 4-6 months :)
Take my advice.... your enjoyment of the game will last a lot longer IF you do not screw with the time clock. Some people do that to get all the items. Its not fun that way.

In my case.... no snail SUCKS.... but I am not using the clock to get it.

retarded snail. forget the net... when I find it I am taking the shovel to it.

That's what i've heard from NoM UK. But like I said who's gonna be crazy enough to see if it happens? Maybe some Japanese kid who got it on the 64 will.
