OK,
I had that video of my friends knocking each other out. Which we did during the summer. Well some idiot in my school goes and shows a teacher who shows the principle [remember the video was on a PUBLIC WEBSITE no anything for school, and how they got onto myspace is beyound me] and the principle calls our parents and makes them cry bc of this!!!!

and now since it was my friends idea he's on suicide watch for some reason!!!!!!

GAH I HATE MY PRINCIPLE

whats ur thoughts??

That's pretty mental. I'm confused. Erm, I don't think he could really do anything to you for something you did outside of school. You didn't do any of it in school did you?

First off, never ever put stuff like that on a PUBLIC website. If anyone can access it, you'll put yourself in danger.

Also, you'd be surprised how many people have been fired from their jobs for putting simple stuff on myspace.com, simply because they chose to have it "PUBLIC" and not a private account.

The fact is, people take stuff too seriously. What maybe funny to you, can offend people easily. Actually, now that I think about it, this entire country is a wuss factory.

For example, They can't stand people getting hurt, but they love watching lions attack and eat Zebras on Discovery channel? Yeah that makes PERFECT sense :lol

Wow... 1. Be careful with that. Someone could get hurt. 2. I'm gonna restate what mega said: don't ever put ANYTHING on a public website. That's a surefire way to get in trouble. 3. Really is none of the school's business.

Wow, I know this is inappropriate, but I thought that this topic was going to be about hating credit cards... :lol

Anywhos, yeah, what everybody else said.

It isn't the school's business, in a way, but if a teacher has reason to suspect something bad about a student they have all the right in the world to inform a parent.

Hmmm. I don't know what to think. Putting stuff on my.space that can get you in trouble is not a good idea though.

honestly i didnt think it would get me in trouble in school bc students can't acess it, and apperently a kid used a proxy to show teachers, which apperently they dont care about so wth?

Well if anyone can access it, then like I said before, it really puts you into danger. Yet the proxy? This kid who accessed it, must have known what he was doing probably?

I think I am the only one here that got this joke. :lol

Anyway, if you put anything on a public forum, you become a target by anyone who simply wants to cause trouble. First thing, don't ever, EVER, record anything that remotely has the possibility to become public. Second, if you do, never, EVER, put in any place that can be accessed by anyone other than yourself. In these days, people are suckers for publicity and money.

Yea, aI got in trouble for having my school's name on myspace, and having a video of one of my friends cussing out my other friends. They had nothing to do with one another; but they were on the same page, so my principle told my mom and I had to delete it.

That's funny, because a principal has no legal right to force anyone to delete a myspace page, nor can they threaten if you don't. You have what they call First Amendment Rights. And he can go take a flying leap.

 NICE

But yeah.....he had no authority to do that....even though uploading that to a public page wasn't a good idea, I wouldn't have listened to him. What's he gonna do?

He had NO business what so ever, to do that, if this actually happened at your school then I can understand him, but this happend out side of your school! Anything that doesn't happen on school property is out of their control. I don't know what you can do about that, but something tells me you gotta DO SOMETHING. One more thing, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM MY SPACE!
