That I can agree with. When I worked at GameStop, they sent us TONS of marketing all the time. We had box art up the wazoo for nearly every upcoming release, even the really obscure games. I don't think it would actually cost that much more for them to implement using marketing materials instead of gut copies in order to display what they have in stock.
