Gaming complexes?

Hey, anyone ever been to a game complex such as CyberJocks? (cyberjocks.com, if you want to see what it is). Basically, you pay money ($5 in this case) every hour to play all the games you want. They have all the major consoles plus online hookups, and blazing fast computers installed with all the latest Multiplayer games.

I'm heading out to CyberJocks for the first time today, which is what raised me to ask this. Is it cool to be able to play multiplayer games in an environment like this, surrounded by other players?

I went to this Q Disney thing when I was in Disney World, which basically a Tower of games, Each floor has awesome virtual reality games and stuff, some where you do different stuff and are in different contraptions, it really blew me away.

There was something like that near me, but I only was able to go once before they closed down due to lack of funds

Rofl, I was seriously wondering if they have MySpace cafes o__o

Okay, wow. This place was awesome. You pay $6 for a credit, which lasts an hour (You can save credits from what I hear if you don't get to finish them off).

The graphics? Completely and utterly amazing. Battlefield 2 was just beautiful on that computer. The place has 42 computers, with two rows set back to back, and then 5 private rooms with 5 computers each for tournament play (You can chat with your buddies whilst pwning the nubs in the next room, hehe). They do tournaments, too. I want to get hooked up there :O

They also had a huge projection wall in which you could play Xbox/GameCube (In Melee the characters are as big as you it seems). Of course they had a 360 set up too.

My favorite thing? DDR. They had a nice metal pad.

But yeah, I'm gonna try to go back next week sometime. Maybe I can meet up with some of you guys in a game? They have all the major ones out right now...

$5 for an hour is to steep for me. Even if you have access to all the games, would you even have time to play them all? Im pretty sure there are some around here in Los Angeles.

What really makes it worth it for me, is the DDR.

If I were to go to an arcade it would be $1 a game, and I play more than 5 usually. Hehe.
