GBA - Game Cube connectivity

Anyone here have good experiences with connecting their GBA to the Game Cube? Since my parents play a LOT of Gamecube, and I have a GBA, I think it's about time to tap that option.

From what I've read, Zelda: Windwaker can have a second player helping out when a GBA is connected to the GC.
Metroid Prime can have the original Metroid game unlocked when connected to Metroid: Fusion in a GBA.
Zelda: Four Swords and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles both require each player to have a GBA connected to the GC in multiplayer.

Anyone else have experience or info with connectivity in these four games (or others)?
 
yea iv done it w/ WW and its ok, but not worth buying a $12 cord for

zelda four swords adventurs, however is a fun use, but expensive

i calculated it out, if u wanna play 4 player on zelda it would cost roughly $478
 
The Wind Waker GBA option is kinda cool because you can use it to call Tingle and buy power-ups like health, remote bombs, levitation, etc., but this makes the game much easier than it already is. You also get more detailed dungeon maps that show the locations of Tingle statues, which you need to complete all the side quests. Someone else can control Tingle on the GBA screen or you can switch back and forth.

Completing Fusion and then linking with Prime unlocks the original NES Metroid, and if you've completed Prime and link you get the blue Fusion suit.

The GBA link in single player Four Swords is actually kind of annoying because every time you go underground the game switches to the GBA screen. The multiplayer thing is okay, but it mostly seems like a gimmick to sell more GBAs and link cables.

Haven't played Crystal Chronicles so can't help you with that one.
 
Also, Pac Man Vs. is a fun multiplayer game with the GBA link(s) because everyone knows how to play Pac Man. One person controls Pac Man on the TV screen while the others control the ghosts on their GBAs. It was packaged with the Player's Choice version of Pac Man World 2.

The GBA link opens up the little island to the south, and there are some tricks you can do there to make money or get rare items by burying stuff. It injects a little life into the game if you've grown bored with it. The NES game download thing is much cooler, but you have to keep the GBA turned on or in sleep mode or the game is lost. And I still haven't found Donkey Kong Jr.! >:( (Am I the only one who was disappointed when Super Tortimer Bros. turned out to be a fake game?)

Nintendo made the assumption that since it seemed like everyone had a PS2, and that the GBA had sold more, that even more people already had a GBA, and would at most need just the cord.

Apparently everyone who wanted to play these two games had no friends with GBA's.
