Gears Of War VS. Halo 3....Thoughts

I'm probably gonna get killed for this next comment considering this board is full of gears fanboys, but I really can't stand gears.
 
It's ok. I mean, some people jus can't get a grip on the greatest game man has ever seen. :p :lol All in jest

But for real, we shouldn't even have this poll until both games are released.
 
I've beat the single player, whoopdeedo.... And I've watched people play multiplayer and it just doesn't look at all entertaining.

Well, when Halo 3 comes out, Gears will lose a huge chunk of its fanbase, similar to how Halo 2 depleted many popular games of their players. I will probably enjoy Halo 3 more, so my vote goes to it, but I love Gears.
 
True, Halo 3 hasn't been played by many. But Bungie is a great dev studio, and I doubt they would make a flop, especially with one of the biggest gaming series in FPS history.

The world has not seen much at all, so it is hard to tell. Once the beta goes live, people will be able to form a better opinion about it.
 
Its hard for me to decide because both Gears of War and every game thus far in the Halo series has just been eh but I guess I choose Halo 3 because it hasn't been released yet and could end up being really good. 8)
