Who has played this game? Anyone?

I noticed something odd... the Xbox and Ps2 version of this game is down to $20 new... but the Gamecube's is $40 still..... at least most stores online.. and everything around my area.

Anyway... Who has played this and what do you think about it?

I am curious as I am thinking about picking it up.

I thought it looked awesome. I remember hearing that it was a really fun game, but really short too. To me it basically looked like a Pikmin spin-off, so I really want to play it.

I rented it once for its splitscreen multiplayer, and it was pretty fun. I didn't play it enough to get a true feel for it, but it still held my interest for the short time I did play it. It's like a "simplistic" RTS where you build different goblins from your base, and then send them in to attack, or zoom in with the camera and control the units individually.

man... for some reason, that does sound fun.

I would like to play this game. I might pick it up.

You know... it is hard to find the Gamecube version. Luckily I still have 2 in stock with me :) I might just gank one for myself :lol

how are the controls on it Johngamer?

I remember the controls being pretty easy to master, and much better than any PC RTS ported to a console. The B, Y, and X buttons were "mapped" to control of your different goblin armies (much like control groups in a PC RTS), which worked well.

I wish I had played more of the single player game to know just how good it is though; right now, I can really only vouch for the entertainment of the game when played against a friend. I'm sure it is just as fun solo though, I just haven't tried it.
