God of War Chains of Olympus release date offical

According to the Sony rep, it's supposed to hit retail in September. I have no idea why there's such a large time gap, though.

yeah... that it odd. That is a HUGE retail gap.

Maybe they cannot get the parts to run production...?

Easy, Fall sales are better than Summer a majority of the time. Which is why portable game systems sell better in the summer. They wanna prep God of War for Holiday sales.

It actually came out on Tuesday. I'm not sure why the rep said September, although it's not the first time the Sony rep has been wrong about something.

I decided to pick it up after debating on it a while. The biggest factor that made me do it was probably the battery life. The slim PSP's battery is supposed to be a little better than the original PSP's battery life.

The PSP itself is pretty nice. It's really light, even with the battery in. It almost feels too fragile. I'm going to get a case for it tomorrow ASAP so I don't have to worry about it so much.

I guess the only bummer is that the God of War: Chains of Olympus game that comes packaged with it is just in a little sleeve instead of having the real case. I'll have to get ahold of a blank PSP case and use it for God of War.

Same method with Daxter bundle. The game is in a cheap lil sleeve. That sucks.
