Gotta love the ugly screen protectors!!

I had a customer come into my shop today with a PSP. I asked him before he left if the screen were indeed easy to scratch. He said yes, but that he has a screen protector. The screen protector looks like the film that companies put on small screen displays before shipment and it dulls out the picture quality!!

For $250, I'd really expect more than a thin plastic static cling cover to protect the screen. And this is probably the only reason why I will not invest in a PSP. All it takes is one mishap, or one of my kids gets a hold of it and bye bye screen.

Okay. My rant is done now.
 
He must've gotten one of the cheap ones because there are better screen protectors that dont dull out the screen. Seems to me your rant is more towards your kids being kids and not the actual PSP.

Pretty much. See, nothing is sacred amongst kids. And I know that if I get a PSP, and accidentally leave it in the living room area, it's doomed. Now, my son got a hold of my NGPC once and all he did was leave finger prints on the screen. My daughter is the destructive one. She'll grab it up and smack it around.

Oh well, at least I'll still be able to get my DS!!

Yeah I know what you mean. I dont have kids but I do have a niece and nephew and they are destructive. Thats why they arent allowed in my room at all.

I got the Hori filter, how would you go about cleaning one if fingerprints get on it? A hair accidentily got in between the screen and the filter, and when I removed the filter to get it off, I accidentaly smudged the side of the filter.
