Thought it'd be a weird game, maybe we could start a tourney ;D. the main thing is to make the two teams as different as possible.

from the exception of the hobbits, I think the fellowship would just murder the Pokemon

they aren't so cute when they're cut into pieces with a sword :lol
 
Thats what I think. Legolas would pick them off while Argorn and Gandalf got close and murdered them all.
 
guys, not the trainers fighting, the pokemon. Remember some polemon are rock type, so good luck slashing them. And how does Barbequed Frodo taste?
 
they would. No question.
Pikachu would be standing there and Gandalf would walk up, and pikachu would smile say 'Pika' and Gandalf would stare at him sternly. Lift his foot high and stamp on lttle Pikachu until there's nothing left. The Ash and Misty and BLock Head (Brock) would be emotional and go 'Nooooooooooo!' and Legolas would snipe them from afar with his bow and they'd all die.

Frodo will be in the back with another fat hobbit playing with some ring, the twins will be seen only in rare occasions( which is sumwhat like the movie) :lol
 
as far as rock types, I think a Gimli could crush them with his axe, dwarves are miners

and most of the other pokemon could be cut in half easily
 
lets imagine a scenario:

Ash brings out Pikachu
Misty brings out Staru
and Brock brings out Onix

Pickachu tries to shock legolas but he's too far away and Legolas shoots him in between the eyes
Staru attacks Aragorn since it's the size of a starfish doesn't really do much and then Aragorn slices him
Onix beat up on the hobbits because nobody likes them and then Gimli is free to smash his head in

and that's only if Gandalf didn't do anything
and pretty much the rest of them can probably arrowed, sliced, or crushed before they even have a chance to attack
 
If it were any pokemon..then I'd choose the Pokemon to win. (any pokemon with hypnosis would put all of the LOTR characters to sleep)

But since we're not...I'll have to go with the LOTR guys.
 
yeah, maybe if it was Mewtwo, or the legendary birds/legendary dog, the pokemon could have a chance
