Hey I dont know if everyone already knew this, but I found out GT4 is finally coming out Feb. 22.

I preordered it way back in March and its finally coming. Who else likes the game? I loved GT3. I was hoping that gt4 would have online but I guess you cant always get what you want.... (Rolling Stones) lol

Anyways i just wanted to know who is getting it and who likes the game....

Any website, specifically media play. I preordered it from them and they have sent me to emails already saying its coming

February 22, 2005.

Am I the only one who has heard this?

Oh lol No problem. I was just getting ticked off because I got my hopes up. As long as it is still coming out this month Im happy ;D
 
Yeah its official that GT4 is going to be released this month Feburary 22, 2005. I just bought GT3 a couple of weeks ago because I couldn't wait any longer! :lol

GT3 is really hard, hard to obtain your license and very challenging.
 
I love GT3

I thought it was tough in the beginning but I have all the licenses and like4 F1 cars.

Here is some advice. Get the license and then but a viper. Put everything you can in it, and then race an endurance race on Super Speedway. If you win you get 200,000 and a chance on a F1 car. If you get the F1 car you can pretty much win any race that doesnt have restrictions.

This is what I did and it worked like a charm.

I already preordered Gt4 so I should have it by February 24.

So your telling me to get all the license's first?
 
I got them all but the super license first. Then you can race pretty much any race and not have to worry about getting them later on.

Then use my idea with the viper and you will have the game beat in about a year or two. lol
 
Yeah, once you get a Viper you can easily win an endurance race. Then you can easily win everything else (including the rest of the endurance races) with one of the six Indy cars or so.
 
yeah but the viper is only good for the Super Speedway endurance. If you put a lot of money into it, you wont even need to pit. It was pretty funny the first time I raced it. I was on lap 190 out of 200 i think, and the wheels were so bad. I would try turning all the way and slam the wall at 200 something mph. Some good times.
 
Well 7 days left until GT4 comes out. I really cant wait to play this game. 800 cars and 80 dealerships, this should be sweet.

Wonder how big your garage is... :?

Sounds like it'll be more like GT2 with the cars rather than GT3. GT3 sucked for car selection, as 90% of the available cars were all from Asia and almost none from everywhere else. Are they going to have some more dealer licenses like Aston Martin, Vector (I so hope they're back, they were great in GT2), Lamborghini (sp?), Ferrari, etc?

Im still sort of ticked that there is not going to be online mode. :-\

It should still be a great game. On Amazon it says it is coming out Feb 22. It also says that the Startegy Guide is coming out March something. I hope the guide comes out soon. I cant wait, I have the whole week off next week, and GT4 is going to come to my house on the 24. I should have plenty of time to play the game. I figure 24 hours in a day and I will play for about 20. :lol
 
Whoever says the PS2 can't do good graphics must be smoking something heavily. Those screenshots are incredible. Some of them look real, and I guarantee they'd fool my parents. My dad saw GT3 in the store when it first came out and said "Is that a real race?"

They didn't do too well with the actual pics in the car list, but the ones that show the "attention to detail" are incredible.

I can't believe they have the Ford F150 Lightning in there... Didn't they mention the Model T in the main menu of sorts to the website?
 
They still have too many Japanese cars and little of the others... One game doesn't need 46 Hondas, even if it's a Honda racing game...
