GT4

Well tomorrow is the day. GT4 is coming out. Unfortunatley I preordered mine and it is being shipped to me, so I wont get it until Thursday. :-\
 
Has anyone heard anything about this game yet? I know it just came out today, but I'm really excited. I am having mine shipped to me so I wont have it for a while :-\ On another forum I was reading that a person found the graphics to be disappointing. I hope this isn't the case. Well post up people, if you know anything about GT4.

I heard that on GT4 you can transfer over some licenses and money from GT3. That would definitley be a cool feature to get me started. Im not sure if I should do this or not. Im probably going to just play it without any GT3 help.

I can confirm that. Today we had our big GT4 launch at work and the Sony rep was there. She mentioned that you could do that.

Also, not sure if anyone here really cares, but it is 1080i compatible (for those with high tech tvs).

Thanks Mai. Yeah I did hear about the 1080i but it doesnt affect me. I cant believe that gamespot only ranked it 8.9. I guess they probably do have a good reason, its been pushed back forever and they took online mode off. But on the other hand, I dont know how they could have improved GT much after playing GT3. I think it would at least deserve a 9.1, by reading all the reviews. I guess I will have to wait and find out to see for myself.

I'd like to find a decently inexpensive deal to hook my Xbox/PS2 to my computer monitor and play those games at high quality. I don't have any TV's that'll support high resolutions...

What do you use to connect it? I've seen things that say it runs in 1080i or whatever mode (if the game supports it) from component cables and they say it looks incredible.
 
I have an ATI all in wonder pro 9700... and I use the connector they give and use S-video between the system and connector.

sometimes I just use normal composite.... thought... but most of the time I use S-video.

Im still waiting for it to get shipped to my house. I should have just went to the store and bought it. I would have already had it by now. :-\
