Guitar Hero 3

Unfortunately for the Wii, it looks like it's going to be GC all over again, where the best games for it are Nintendo games and multiplatform games are better on the other systems. :-\

Yeah, first party support is what makes Nintendo shine like gold. They could have done so much more with GH3

The wii was a bad idea in general
Oh boy, do I disagree. I doubt Nintendo would have survived this generation the way they were going, but they went and made an innovative, accessible control scheme, that helped make Nintendo a success again. Too bad I can't find anything to play on mine right now (outside of the VC).

everybody shut up now. i dont care whether you like the ps3 or wii more! this thread is about guitar hero 3! i always get blamed for this!

Hines....are you feeling alright? :lol

Honestly, this isn't turning into a PS3/Wii thread. Just calm down. We were talking about the differences between the GH3's at first. Don't you worry. :p

Uh... Where did the PS3 ever make it into this thread?

Anyways, the only reason I really got a Wii is for the Virtual Console games. I just wish they would release more games that were actually popular...

Uh...how did we get so far off topic? :lol

To answer your question though, the PS3 and Wii both have a similar problem that was brought up..hence the PS3 being added. Kinda...comparing the two.

But on to the topic at hand, I think I'll take Mega's advice and get it for the 360. Though I probably won't get it for a lil while cause I'm saving up for Christmas!

You know how if you don't have a guitar for the ps2, and 360 versions? How do you use the WiiMote to play it?

Good question...even the manual doesn't say lol

well i'm getting the wii version (well my sister is the one that's gonna buy this game XD) but i'm worried that the speaker of the wii remote sound, but aside from this all the versions are very similar, i don't think we can say wich one is better, the important thing is that the core of the game is good.

The real question is why would you want to play Guitar Hero with the Wii-mote, or a 360 controller, for that matter.

Yeah, it's like playing Halo 3 with the guitar controller. :lol

You have to if you want to play co-op and you don't have a second guitar. It's not really that bad, it just takes a sec or two to get used to it.
