Guitar Hero: On Tour for NDS (it's offical)

More, probably. Music licensing, making the peripheral, probably at least $50.

I doubt it has to do with music licensing. The fact that there's only 20 songs coupled with the evidence that bands consider it a sign of popularity to be in a Guitar Hero game seems to suggest otherwise. But that's just my opinion. :/

On Gamestop.COM it said $49.99 i'm pretty sure. Which that's only $10 up from other DS games right? ( I don't have a DS ).

Normally, most DS games are $29.99 new. Unless Nintendo branded at $34.99 (Pokemon Diamond) or major titles like Zelda Phantom Hourglass ($39.99). So somewhat of a leap

Phantom Hourglass was $34.99, nowadays, new DS games are $34.99, though considerably less than before, and any and all Square Enix stuff is $39.99

Anyways, if it's seriously listed at $50, I might hafta get it...

Really? I still see a few places that continue to sell Zelda PH for $40 still.

Wow, at my Gamestop, it was $35 new when I got it. Which was about two weeks after release. They're trying to rip you off.

Uh, no. All DS games were $29.99 when the DS launched.
I never said anything about launch, as I wasn't focused on the DS at that time. Within the last year, year and a half, they've consistently been $34.99

If you've ever been enjoying the music of No Doubt or Twisted Sister and thought "Yes, this is good, but it's just not compressed enough for my tastes," you'll be happy to hear that they and 13 other bands were recently announced for the upcoming DS release Guitar Hero: On Tour.

Perhaps considering the popularity of the system outside of the hardcore, the song selections do seem a bit more ... mainstream than we've become accustomed to. But overall, they don't seem like bad picks. Check out the full list after the break and let us know what you think.

Do What You Want - OK Go
All The Small Things - Blink 182
Spiderwebs - No Doubt
Are You Gona Be My Girl - Jet
We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
All Star - Smash Mouth
Breed - Nirvana
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar
This Love - Maroon 5
Heaven - Los Lonely Boys
Helicopter - Bloc Party
China Grove - The Doobie Brothers
Rock and Roll All Nite - KISS (cover by Line 6)
What I Want - Daughtry

... >.>

Rick Springfield? A few songs already in GH3? And seriously.. there are better Blink 182 songs than that thing.
