Haloid

That was a pretty sweet video. Now if it were the real Master Chief, poor Samus woulda been destroyed in about 15 seconds, but it was still entertaining none the less. :D

Nah, the other way around. All opinion really anyway... they're pixels xD

Sweet vid.

Opinions, opinions :P

IMO, Samus has more up her sleeve than Chief. Samus has a gun connected to her that can take many weapon forms, from a Sniper to Machine Gun, to a grappling hook. What does Chief have? Some cool armor, guns, and hands to use them. That's it, really :/ Samus can just pick up a gun too with her left hand and have her own special dual-wielding. Samus also has a jetpack, can change into a super-fast Morph Ball that lays mines, etc

:P Oh, that and she's hot and you can actually see what her face looks like..

Just sayin'. Note, I'm not trying to start some stupid flamewar over pixels, I'm just giving my opinion. What's yours? I'd like to hear it. :) No bashing as it's just an opinion over pixels.

Also, what it really comes down to "fanboyism". I know we don't call ourselves fanboys, but since they're fake anyway, you'll say the one you like most wins. I like Samus the most, so that's my opinion. MC fans will choose him, and have their own reasons, all perfectly acceptable.

Master Chief was trained from a young age in all manners of warfare. He doesn't need the advantage to win, and performs best when he is at a disadvantage.

Samus has some high tech gear but is not a soldier and lacks the training of the Chief.

That is a good point... but in my opinion, experience is better than training. Samus has been destroying Metroids, Space Pirates, and Mother Brains far longer than MC. I'm sure she knows how to react under pressure and has specific strategies for different situations. She's been going at it for 21 years now. :P

Your opinion is taken, and welcomed.

It's not like samus killed stuff just as well when she lost all her armor and abilities in the first Metroid... i would call that a disadvantage. I wonder what would happen if MC lost his armor ^_^.

Master Chief has more experience doing what he does in the Halo universe. He first fought the Covenant in 2525, 27 years before the first Halo game takes place.

Interesting little vid altogether. When did Samus get the ability to change her gun arm into a light saber type weapon? Samus has skills as a bounty hunter and was raised by Chozo, but gained most of her super human abilities because of the Chozo artifacts. If I'm not mistaken, Master Chief is genetically engineered, but also gains strength from his armor.

Of course, there had to be a little Matrix rip off scene in the middle of the whole sequence...

As of Super Smash Brothers: Brawl :lol

Guess I should have expected this topic to turn into a MC vs Samus.

Seems to take place in the Matrix so we're talking about two separate fictions within a third within a fourth...

...'scuse me while my head explodes.

When Samus turns into a ball and MC kicks it and dents it...I'm wondering...would that cause brain damage for Samus? :lol

Basically, Kirby (and this is all in opinion :lol), Samus can kill some spaceship dudes...cool. I've never been in a game where Samus had 30 or so aliens come at her at once. Where as MC pretty much has that happen throughout the whole game.

Advantage: MC. :D

Pixel wars are serious business...Honestly you can't say who will win. Because you simply don't know, even with all your information on each fighter.

Precisely, which is why we're just stating opinions on our own speculations. There's no way to prove it. This debate is an old one, strung across many forums for quite some time now.
