Happy 3rd Birthday! Xbox 360! (Nov 22nd, 2005!)

My roommate and I have consciously avoided getting the new dashboard until holidays are over. No point doing something that very well might cause an RROD right before I actually have time to sit down and play some games.

I find it sad that this type of paranoia is actually valid.

Same. Also kinda sad to think that I will probably never buy a 360 due to all of the hardware issues.

kinda sad i don't think i'll be able to get a 360 anytime soon.... the sad part is that my sister bought me Tales of vesperia as a birthday present XD

Its amazing how Microsoft's inability to make something work the first time around has just been par for the course. Generally speaking, a company does not release a product unless the product does what it is intended to do. Microsoft has a tendency to give people half of a working model, and they give you the rest of it in chunks as they build it to completion.

Sad indeed. Also frustrating. :lol

Mine is still out for repairs. I can't wait this long to play Mirror's Edge! >:(

Huh? It's seriously been out for the RROD for this long? I got mine back within 2 weeks.

There is the fact that I sent called to get the box only about two weeks ago. You tend to forget these things when you're doing nothing but playing Left 4 Dead. :lol

I wouldn't go that far. But yes, it is sad and frustrating. Although, I would say it's safe to update now.
