Nov 18th, 2001. Nintendo GameCube launched in North America!
lord I remember that day because I was working for GameStop...it was my first week...and man it was HELL!
Since we had Xbox and Cube released 3 days apart...the customers were like savages!
I didn't get mine until the 2nd shipment, around December 12th, 2001....was well worth it..especially since Luigi's Mansion was a personal favorite of mine.
Yet let us not forget, that thanks to the Nintendo GameCube, it gave new life to our beloved Sega classics such as Phantasy Star and Sonic the Hedgehog series. Plus gave us Super Monkey Ball and Billy Hatcher...
