I think I read somewhere a while ago that FFX could be transferred to the hard disk through it's main menu. It might've been only when the hard disk was available in Japan though...
I think I might have to get the HDAdvance thing, and a $46 80 gig hd...

Now where the hell are you going to find a 80Gb Hd for $46? I don't even think they sell them down here. I think the lowest they got is 120Gb.

Not an official PS2 hd. Just search the internet. http://www.pricewatch.com and http://www.newegg.com have computer prices extremely cheap. Or just try going to a computer show. I'm sure you could find a hd for less than the $46 one I found.

I see what your doing. Ordering online is way cheaper than going to the store, well most of the time it is. ;)

^Exactly. That's why it's ordinarily cheaper (by at least a few hundred dollars) to buy all the computer stuff online and build one, rather than get one at a store.

*did the same, but HEAVILY modified his poor HP to be almost a wonderful gaming machine. plans to spend much more money to completely convert it*

So is it official now? Are these two utilities illegal for use?

I'd really like to get one, as I heard it GREATLY enhances San Andreas play, especially when you travel faster than the PS2 can load the next area off the disk. Maybe my bro will get me one of these for Xmas, and then I can save up for a hd.
