Help Needed: Cannibalism

bigbob

I'm the naked one!
I have a paper I have to write about Cannibalism but I can't seem to find any good information. I started using Wikipedia but than I realized that my school doesn't let you use it on any papers. I was wondering if anyone knew/could help me find any sites on it.

I would Google it. It's simple eating of human flesh anyways. Mostly for ritualistic and survival purposes because doing it on a daily basis causes some sort of brain disease. I forgot what it was called. Besides, I am at the opinion that humans taste horrible. I mean, if humans consume McDonald's, imagine the taste. :sick

You know, Wikipedia has external links at the bottom of the page in the bibliography section. I think you cn use this as a loop hole in using wiki information. :D

Thank you. I was not even thinking about that! I could write a paper on Cannibalism without this crap but we have to have sources. Thank you for reminding me of this! haha

It would help to look up real sources instead of simply writing about what you've heard. Who knows, you might even learn something. :lol

Well these are things I know a lot about, but when I search on the internet, there's no information. I've failed 2 research papers, 10th and 11th grade, only because I didn't use sources. Everything in the paper was fine, but our teachers suck...lol

Well, you have to be able to back up your information.

Try searching a library. Not using sources shows that you either 1) used sources and didn't list them, thus you're guilty of plagarism, or 2) you just didn't do any research. Either way, any information you present on the topic is worthless, so a failing grade is appropriate. Cannibalism is a pretty neat topic, you could get away without reading any books on it, just find an interesting article or two on the subject. You could easily get that by taking the advice of previous posters in this thread, run a google search on the topic, or look up the three names Hines gave you.

Um, my reason for suggesting this was to not use Wikipedia, but to click on those sources and read them. Or at least get a list of books so he could go down to the library and read for himself.

I hope he didn't think I was suggesting a copy-and-paste approach to his paper... :-\

No No Dart. I understood what you were saying. I rephrase everything myself either way because sometimes It sounds like I didn't do it, so I HAVE to change it.

Sigh. I need one question answered please. I'm stupid.

What came first? A.C./B.C. or the first Ice Age?

If you want to look smart you could use b.c.e. and c.e. instead of b.c. and a.d. Its the current, scholastically accepted way of using our timeline.
