Hey I'm new here andd....(Christmas Time)

I've had my PS2 for about 3 years now and I've been a die-hard PS2 fan since.  I've always been bashing the X-Box but don't get mad at me..lol it was only cause I didn't play it and didn't understand it.  Well, for this Christmas this year, I've become bored of the usual couple new PS2 games and some other doo-dads (who uses that word? haha).  This year I've asked for an X-Box and a few games.  I would like your opinion about whether these are good games to start off with or not.

-Halo
-Halo 2
-Morrorwind Elder Scrolls III (plus expansion??)
-Fable
-Dead Or Alive 3
-Need For Speed Most Wanted

If there's any games you would add/delete please let me know. I have to have my list in soon  :lol

Oh and by the way, I'll have X-Box live for sure...can't count that out.

You need Fable: The Lost Chapters to get the full experience on Xbox

Morrowind, you need the "Game of the Year Edition" to get everything

Halo 1 and 2, of course, your primary basics (Plus when you have Halo 2 on Xbox Live, you can pretty much download the entire Map Pack for free instead of spending $20 for the Map Pack Disc)

DOA3 and Ultimate DOA (1 & 2) are great choices (Ultimate DOA is great for Xbox Live play)

Mech Assault 1 and 2 is a blast as well!

DOOM 3 and DOOM 3 Ressurection of Evil is great for single player, but if you wanna deathmatch, Xbox Live is the real deal

Other honorable mentions are Battlefield 2, Far Cry, and every single Capcom and SNK fighting game on the Xbox is always a trip!
 
Hey thanks alot! Lol looks like I might have to add some games to the list.

Are the MechAssaults really that good? I haven't heard much about them.
 
Mech Assault is great, the missions are just fun to roam around and destroy anything...the multiplayer aspects are quite nice too

As for Mech Assault 2: Lone Wolf, you get a ton of variety as well. With the ability to jump out of the Mech and into another!
 
Far Cry is decent, but not even worth considering if you've ever played the PC version.

All above games mentioned are good. If you like racing games, RalliSport Challenge 2 and Forza are excellent.
 
Very good start! Now, just ditch NFS and replace that with Forza Motorsport ;D Here's some more ideas. Doom 3, Star Wars K.o.t.o.r 1 and 2, Otogi 1 an 2, Ninja Gaiden black, Crimson Skies, Breakdown, Any Splinter Cell, Pro Race Driver, Rainbow six 3, Jade Empire, and Project Gotham racing 2.
 
Is Forza better than NFS?!?! :o

Thanks for those additions...looks like I have major revising...so I'm limiting myself to 10 games to ask for cause I'll prolly be lucky enough to get them. So if you could pick 10 games to start off with for the X-Box what would they be? (not to change the subject or anything...but I've been hearing alot of good ideas and I don't wanna jus pile them all on the list haha cause they all sound good)

I'm greatly appreciating this kind of treatment and these responses to a newbie like me :lol ;D

haha it sure does get boring...the only games my friends really play over my house is Madden 06' even tho I own them all ;D
