Hope some of you fellas got a Wii..

Griff, doesn't it already come with Wii sports? I think I'll stay with Madden for the 360 jus for the graphics though. Wii sports sounds fun.

Don't even joke about that. Buy Zelda. Forget a standard shooter. If you don't buy Zelda you're missing out on the best game since the new milennium started. If you don't think so, well, as I said in my other post - do what you will.

But I highly recommend Zelda. Buying a Wii with Zelda should be a given. It's god in a beautiful box with a gorgeous, golden CD cover art. Make no mistake - this is the Game of the Year. Don't expect Gears of War to get that award when all is said and done. This is the year of Zelda my friend.
 
My gf and I played Wii Bowling for like hours. Wii Bowling!! That game is seriously fun!! We also played a bit of a golf, which was fun as well.

I started on Zelda and it's as awesome as I expected. I love the puzzles that I've encountered so far. I only played for about an hour or so and I got to the part where you get the fishing pole. Now that we're talking about it I want to go play it again. XD! But I'm also really eager to check out my Rayman Raving Rabbids game, which I've heard really awesome things about as well.

I recently picked up games for some of my other systems (DOAX2 and FFXII) but I think I'll be spending the near future playing the Wii exclusively. It's so awesome!!

Yeah, the Wii is so fun it's kinda like..okay...put the other systems away now. Kinda sad. Fortunately I beat GOW and COD3 before the Wii came out.
 
Yea Wii bowling is awsome, its the first time my dad and I really played a video game.  In fact the only one in my house that did not play is my mom.  well 5 out of 6 is not bad!

I played Raymond over my friends house with 6 people, rotating every loss, it was a lot of fun!  Weird, very weird but a lot of fun.

And as far as Zelda being game of the year  :D YES  :D
 
Finally got my hands on Zelda. I'm still pickin GOW to win by a landslide. But, I'll def have to get Zelda for the Wii when I get it.

Yeeeah...GOW is pretty, but not as fun for as long by any means.

Personally Zelda beats the crap out GOW as far as story and shear one player goodness. GOW, however, has some of the best multiplayer action since Halo 2, possibly even better (I still havent played GOW enough to see how deep it goes as far mutiplayer is. Halo 2 has way more game modes though.)

I wouldn't doubt it but for me both have their strong points. If I want multiplayer then I go with GOW. If I want a great story with equal gameplay then I want Zelda.
 
You guys are crazy if you don't think Zelda will be GOTY. The story is amazing, and Zelda will take up 100+ hours easy. There is also going to be free extra downloadable levels. Zelda ROCKS! :D
