how do you make counter strike and half-life maps?

I used to make doom 1 and 2 levels... I want to make a few H/L levels.

Half-Life 2.. I'm not that sure, I'm not sure if there is an editor or not for it, but there probably is, and probably is like Half-Life 1's

I really don't remember anything on it right now, it's been like 3 years since I've messed with mapping for it :?

there's another site i found.. i just figured out that worldcraft isn't even used even more.. they changed it to hammerfall or whatever, i think the first site was with worldcraft tutorials
