i wa sthinkign about buying it, my problem is ive got no idea abotu any of it. ive got a million questiosn so here they go



how do you set it up? do you need all the disks and need donwload all of them onto your computer
if not? do you play different than people with all the disks

what exactly do you do in the game? is it like maplestory kind of quests or what

mic? do you needa buy oen and hook it up to your computer or does it come with it

is the monthly charge worth it?...is it

is it really that addicting? i need a good game to keep my occupied

whats your personal opinion overall? rate it

The monthly charge is not worth it, you shouldn't have to pay $15 a month to play a game you've already bought. Right there, ignore it.
 
Get Tabula Rasa.

Its not ur normal MMORPG, not turn based, created by Richard Garriott (Ultima anyone?).

Still gotta pay $15 a month but hey it ain't so bad.

Pop in the discs, that are in the box, install them, and launch the game. You probably have to make an account or do something else like that too.

You get quests, level up, get new gear, just like in other MMO's.

Dunno. I haven't played WoW for any considerable length of time (neither has fhq, by the way :lol), so I couldn't tell you that, but the $15 a month can be annoying at times, I'm sure.

You would need to buy a separate mic. They don't come standard, as far as I know.

I was playing Tabula at a friends house yesterday. And I almost peed myself because of how much fun it was. Ah, how much I idolize Richard Garriott and his geniousness.
 
I would try one of the free 3D MMOs first, like Anarchy Online or Flyff, before signing up for WoW. That'll give you an idea of how these games play and won't cost you anything if you don't like the format. Or, you could check out a game like Guild Wars which has no monthly fees.

Personally, I can't see paying $15 dollars a month beyond the purchase price for any game, no matter how good it is.

But that's only ten days, you can't do crap in an MMO in ten days.

Firstly, go download the 10 day free trial. 10 days is well more than enough to decide if you like it or not. If you do, get the battle chest from the store.

You have a starting area, you do quests, you move on to the next area. Sorry if that sounds dull, but I don't have a clue how to explain it. :lol

You can use a mic, but I don't have one and don't know anybody that uses them.

That's something you need to decide for yourself. To me? Yes, it is very much worth it.

It's consumed people's lives... So yes it's addicting... As long as you have control over your bodily functions I'm sure you'll be fine.

It gets dull if you have nobody to play with.

eh Ive been looking but nothing beats Ultima. Tabula comes close but not close enough.

I mean come on. Wait out of Town to mob the next person that comes out and then taking all their gear. Nothing beats that sir.
