Hot is the only way I can put it in my area of the US. Gaming has been mainly with my Wii. Rayman Origins has been taking some of my gaming time, Speed Racer on my DSi, and I have been spending a little time with some PS1 games. I had forgotten the games that I had for that system. Philosoma, Wipeout 3, Gekioh Shootiiing King, Ridge Racer, Lunar, Batman Forever the Arcade game, Marvel vs Capcom, Tekken 3, made me remember just why I had this system.
I've especially been spending a lot of time with my Kindle reading a lot of old 30's and 40's pulp science fiction.

Summer's been... interesting. :lol
In between jobs at the moment. It has given me some time to read Game of Thrones (almost done Book 3), get some writing done, and catch up with some friends.
Still just rockin BF3 and NHL 11 for games. Trying to take advantage of the weather and stay active by doing things outdoors while I can.

I work retail, so it just feels like I work all the time. Especially right now, since my department is down to two people, and we really need at least four to run smoothly.
When I'm not at work, though, I mostly play Gears of War 3. I'd like to get to level 100 at least once. I'm at 69 right now. All of my high medals are in Horde mode so once I onyx all of them, I'll have to branch out to other game modes. :lol It's too bad not a lot of people play Beast mode now, though, as I've got a lot of those in Gold and if I could get more Beast games going, I could probably get them all up to Onyx.
I've also been addicted to handheld gaming. Pokemon Conquest is fantastic, as is Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. I've logged ridiculous amounts of hours into both of them already.

Decided to take some summer classes to catch up. Never again...
Been going to a lovely beach to go swimming every so often this summer and went to see spiderman in 3d and batman at IMAX, so that was cool. Mostly hanging out with kids and hubby, and also dreading the fact that I will prolly have to dye my hair back to black to get a job around here.
