How many of you do this?

Jack

You sir, are a fool.
Throughout the past years, I have been having a strange dream phenomena. I have been dreaming and say I'm falling off of a cliff, or trip and fall, as soon as I hit the ground or realize I'm falling, I wake up often being jerked out of my dream, sitting up in my bed, often times sweating, thinking, "What just happened?" Now, I want to know if any of you fellows have experienced this strange subconscious reaction, because it happened to me last night around 11:58 am.

you are thinking about your own death. i tihink that you think your death is coming sooner than you want to. or your going to overcome adversity.

I don't think dreams mean anything, they are just dreams.

I had a dream the world was overran by vampires and the world's physics were from Super Mario Bros. What does that mean? It means I had a weird dream.

I've had multiple dreams of the world being overran by zombies, and that will never happen ever.

Don't sweat it, it is just a dream Jack.

Does your friend ride the short bus to school? Superstitious beliefs irritate me to no end. Your house/friend/cousin/car isn't haunted/possessed by ghosts, vampires, monsters, boogie men, evil spirits, demons, Satan, or anything else. Likewise, if you hit the ground in your dream, you will be fine in real life.

"What is the cause of death, detective?"
"Well Bob, we suspect he hit the ground in his dream, and that killed him."
"Well detective, how did it kill him?"
"It just did. Wanna help me exorcise Satan from my car now?"
"..."

I'm not worried about it, I just found it quite odd. I highly doubt you would die if you didn't wake up. :lol

i know. but like i've had even weirder dreams....

like last year i had a dream of a hallway...just a hallway full of sports stuff, and i dreamed someone [female] said hey let's make out. haha good dream right?

well about.....homecoming time [october] i was walking around the school with this girl i liked well we walked and ended up in that hallway [big de ja vu feeling for me] and guess what she said [but not exactly how the dream was] well u guessed it....so i kind of saw the future 0.o no lie...what do i gain from lying about this?

Nothing to gain, and nothing to lose. It is a double edged sword.

I can levitate about a foot off the ground using my mind, but not in front of other people and I can't make a video of me doing it.

I have nothing to gain or lose by anyone proving or disproving my statement.

I never actually die in dreams...just almost.

But lots of times I start to drift off, and it feels like the bed got yanked out from under me....like I am falling, and I jerk awake. That happens a lot.

When I was a kid, I'd have this wierd repeating dream. It'd be a small shiny silvery orb between to similarly colored pillars. I'm not sure how the transisition here worked, but then I'd see some sort of humongous mettalic-blue dragon-snake thing. Scared the bi-jeebers out of me as a kid.

It'd wreck my eyes the rest of the night too. Like if I closed them I'd feel like I was staring into a void, then if I'd open them, everything would appear to get smaller, then larger (almost instantly), then smaller again, until I finally focused.

Whoa! That is weird.

That never happened to me...I just had lots of dreams about little gray space aliens stabbing me with needles. I hope my dreams never come true! My dreams would feel so real that I would flip out though. I hate the dreams that have those gray guys in it. But it has not happened in a long time now, and I hope it never happens again, cuz those dreams are the worst ever.

That whole deja vu thing sounds like something that happened to me I once had a dream about a year ago that I was going to Red Lobster in Naples, Florida (4 hours from where I live) Well about a week later my dad suprised me and my sister with a trip to naples. Ok I was thinking no big deal, then the first night we had been there he had taken us to Red Lobster and I kept on saying to myself I've seen this place before then I remembered it was in my dream, I had eaten the same food and walked in the same direction as in the dream..pretty freaky

I get deja vu or whatever all the time...........I'll be walking somewhere Ive never been before........and somehow, I know Ive seen it before in a dream. All the time. Very strange.

I dream it all man, falling dreams, drowning dreams, dreams of death, murder, drugs, betrayal....all of it...I just have a warped mind I guess :-\

The dreams where you are running from something but can't run fast enough are scary... I'm sure many of you have had one of those before.

Lol, yea those suck. I've also had some variances of that too, like trying to punch and not being able to swing, or trying to yell and nothing comes out. Funny stuff...
