SpartanEvolved said:You aren't old, I was just joking, but for a gamer, you are. The average age of a gamer is 28-29. But apparently, the average age of a game buyer is 36...
neogeofl said:I know you were joking!I just remember having to save money to buy games for the NES (they were $50.00 back then also in 1987 or so). But now, I can just go buy one without thinking (but, then again, it has been that way since I was like 20).

Dart said:I'm about there. I currently save up for systems that I want because I have other priorities to tend to (Maintaining the house, cars, kids stuff, etc). But for the systems I already have, I buy when I want to buy, and don't when I don't. And my son is now four, and is getting the concept of videogames.
neogeofl said:Yep, I have all those responsibilities also. That is why I like interest free financing for the systems or buy as many as I can while people are paying a higher price for them to knock down the price of the one I want. *I meant games when I said I do not have to think about dropping $50 or $60.![]()
Dart said:Well, up until recently I was paying $105 a week in gas just to drive to work and back. Not including what my wife pays to fill up the van to drive all over the state. So I was feeling a bit of a pinch on the "disposable income." Now that the "corporate higher ups" transfered me to a closer store, I now have the luxury of carpooling with a coworker who lives a quarter mile from me, and my gas bill will drop to somewhere around $20 a week. My truck gets mothballed, and we will ride in his econobox Honda Prelude.
