How to cope with anger?

Some games make me really angre and i want to prevent further damage to my Ps2 controler, and computer keyboard.

Help me!

ha that won't do any good, I'm playing Def Jam and some of the battles are insanly hard.

I got sick of it right now and just turn the stupid thing off.

Just accept that at that moment, you can't do it. I'm sure you're already aware that battering your PS2 controller isn't going to help you achieve success. I just try to learn from my mistakes and act accordingly.

And another thing, since you know the game is difficult, don't be expecting to do it. Try enjoying the journey instead of waiting for the finish to come...

you just have to let it go.

I know it sounds hard..... but don't get upset.... you have control of your feelings and emotions... don't let them get out of hand.

Take a deep breath, walk away... .and come back later.

But really.... you can control your anger.... you just have to be willing to let it go.... In your mind..etc... just let it go.

Such as chop, John, hour, week, boat :D

Only partially listen to what SpartanEvolved just posted.  If your body tells you to take a hammer and beat the living daylights out of your console/computer/dog/family/etc. don't.  It'll save a lot of trouble and paperwork if you just get a punching bag.  Heck, you'll even get stronger! :D

I know, I'm just saying. Surprised you didn't comment on the four letter words I posted there :D

tmaxxer, I still recommend a punching bag.

I do push ups until the anger I feel inside my chest is replaced with an intense desire for oxygen. I never worked up that much a sweat playing vdieogames, but Soul Calibur definitely made me perspire. Sometimes I felt like I was spending more time doing push-ups than playing the game, which I suppose was a good thing anyway.

:lol

I usually just take a break from the game and wait for a little bit. I encounter this all the time doing complex stunts that pretty much require 2 people in Halo by myself

I usually curse to myself for messing up. But only when I'm alone. SC II is a prime example of this.

Fighting games tick me off easily. Not just Mortal Kombat style games, but any game with melee fighting. I always get owned after getting my opponent to an atom's length of health.
