"I didn't think graphics of this caliber were possible on the Gamecube"

The game did go through enormous revisions. I remember being excited when I saw an RE4 video where the gimmick for the game was that the power was out (possibly in a mansion of somesort) and all you had was a flashlight to see anything with. I still think that would make a hella scary Resident Evil...

But knowing Capcom.. they will spruce up the Ps2 version the best as possible.... So we'll have to see.

Lets take Tales of Symphonia by Namco, for example.  It was ported to the PS2 in Japan, and of course, it got a bunch of extras with it.

After I heard from a board member on GameFaqs, I found out why.

Things such as loading times and choppiness were horrendous on the PS2, as well as it overall graphics for the game.  The "extras" were there just to make up for all of its problems.  Though many U.S. GC'ers would like these extras.
