Today I found Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for $20 at Target. Has anyone else played this game yet?? I looked at the screen shots on the back of the box, but haven't played it yet (I'm making another run through Legend of Dragoon, and I suffer a but from tunnel vision). Anyone else find this game entertaining??

Hey, how ironic, I just bought this game earlier this week for PS2 for the same price :)

The game is LONG I must say, some of the areas you explore are quite massive. I havent played much into it, but I do love the soundtrack.

I've been wary of buying that game, though it does intrigue me. I like the Castlevania franchise as a whole (Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, III: Curse of Dracula, Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow). I've heard that this particular release was like a clunkier Devil May Cry type game... I'd still kinda like to check it out and hear some other opinions on it though...

I'll let you know when I am able to pop it in and play it.

That'd be great... And of course, if Curse of Darkness is decent, it pretty much automatically makes Lament of Innocence worth checking out.

Well the one thing that really appealed to me about Curse of Darkness, is it actually connects to the story line of the NES "CastleVania 3: Dracula's Curse" by a mere few years later. Also as a bonus, you can play as Trevor Belmont once you finish the game.

So far it's great. The enemies aren't that easy, but aren't frustrating either. The music also draws you in, and the castle details are amazing. The camera angles are neat also. And you also have the ability to change it with the right analog stick.
