I hate Japan right now >.> Wii's VC recieves SUPER MARIO RPG

Starrynite, you're so awesome blossom. Here's a Desert Eagle and some rounds. Now go shoot yourself in the foot and come back and admit you're wrong.

What is it that I am missing!? Oh I know, Super Mario RPG is the greatest game of all time!!!! Is that it, the game is of such good quality that it is worth more than the price of todays games on the market, it is so good that it is in fact worth to be bought for over $550, it is so good that it is ultimately being offered for a bargain at only 900 WiiPoints!!!!!!!!! Is this it, is this what everyone in this thread proclaims!?

I will admit that I was about to make some extravagent claim of "illogicality" but I will take a different card and take the non naive way out. Sure I cant really justify the quality of the game because I never played it (impossible claim to make, if that was the case then apparently there is 0 value in reader reviews, ratings systems, magazine spots and even this perceived value and worth of a game)!? But ultimately I have always wanted to play the game, but it is developers and companies like these that cause it to become a sacrifice to scrap together the funds needed to afford these titles. Anything over 500 WiiPoints is a premium price to pay. Anything more than that and I can use the money on real disc based games, clothes, shoes, CD's, concert tickets, steaks, restaurants, an entire onslaught of merchandise featuring my favorite entertainment icons!

I have been praising the Wii VC system though its most major flaw is that the pricing scheme is skewed in the wrong direction. The maximum for any game should be 500, the average 250, and the most basic of games would be 100. Ultimately, Companies have put their faith in ridiculous high prices. What is the difference between making profit, when they can easily make profit off of a 5 cent increase overt the coast of making the item versus charged 5 dollars over the cost to manufacture the item. See it is this problem that has caused so much difficulty for me, for it shows that these companies are profit oriented and will charge way too much to make too much profit.

Look I will admit that the Garage Sale is a unconventional example to use, however it (reminds me of that grocery store and tomato one, zomg I am so good with cogent examples) is definitely perfect for this occasion. It was used to prove to you how heinous the idea that the game was never sold for 5$ is. People sell SNES games all the time at garage sales, the game is only worth at most 5$ and anymore is wheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much! People sell it for this cheap, it is still being a bargain to buy it in these garage sales, and the sun sets and rises and nothing has changed since 4.5 billion years.

Do you think it's free for them to put games on the VC? Sorry if you think that they didn't pay a team to convert the game for emulation on the VC.

If you don't want to pay it, then DON'T. End of story. Go buy some Miley Cyrus Tees and matching socks.

ok once again with a few words

GO TO BUSINESS CLASS

that is all >_> i am tired of arguing with you, is impossible because you show no signs of logic in anything you post and why should i waste my time trying to answer everything you day part by part when the single word ILLOGICAL explains everything you post.

Secondly, you look for change in your couch, and use it to buy a Wii Points card.

Well I guess...if you find $20 worth of change in your couch. :lol

But seriously...I'm reading through these posts..and I'd like to respond...but Starrynite keeps beating himself...so there's really no use.

Exactly, instead of being a $40 DS game, $50 Wii game, or still just a $500+ SNES game, Square decided to make it a measly $9.

$9 for Super Mario RPG is a steal.

But if you want to continue to make yourself look stupid, go right ahead.

I dislike you!!!!!! You always make me look so foolish.

I wil concede I guess and admit that when put in a perspective like this that $9 is perhaps a fair price, not the perfect price, but I guess the cheapest that anyone should at least get it, since you know, we are commanded to get it based on popular opinion...

lolz.

You don't need fhq for that. You make yourself look foolish.

$9 is a great deal no matter how you look at it for a classic like Super Mario RPG. ^_^

Starrynite just conceded something. Wow. Let's get ice cream and watch some Hannah Montana.

Im sorry that your feelings were hurt, perhaps think of more appropriate things to say that will at least make my ideals look elite and undeniably correct.

Looks like we should start a fund so Starrynite can get his sarcasm detector fixed.

The Michael Jackson game for SNES is worth more than a Hannah Montana concert will ever be.

Well, I can't say anything about the SNES version.

But the arcade version is something everyone must play at least once.

This makes me want to get my SNES out of its storage spot and hook it up so that I can play SMRPG.

Everyone seems to like Geno, but my party for the final boss was always Mario, Peach, and Bowser. I really didn't use Geno all that much.

Yes it would be interesting to play as Geno. Since Brawl and those rumors, I have always wondered who geno was and why geno was so popular.

I don't really know why people liked Geno so much. I only used him when I had to.

Peach + Lazy Shell Armor FTW.

People loved Geno for two reasons really:

1. He was a character not inherent to the Mario series, and people preffered his personality over Mallows.

2. His attack (or was it s.attack) could skyrocket passed any of the other characters, save for maybe Mario with the Lazy Shell.

Well, I would use Geno over Mallow, so I can see that point. ^_^
