No, I haven't. I really don't know much of anything about them, but I just thought I'd tell Hines that there are things to cool your 360 out there...
 
Nyko Intercooler? Oh dear god stay AWAY from those. They will kill your 360 easily and they make it sound louder than before.
 
The Nyko Intercooler is possibly the worst accessory ever.

When I was working at GameStop I had so many people come in and tell me that it actually made their system overheat. In fact, everyone that ever bought it always brought it back for that reason. I would always recommend them not to buy it but a lot of people didn't listen.

I think Pelican makes one though that's just called The Cooler and that one never came back with bad reviews.

The cold air from the fan blowing on the warm 360 would cool the 360 down. Somewhat.
 
if you hate microsoft then get a playstation where my slogan is ( where ever there is someone in need or trouble then here comes PLAYSTATION MAN to the rescue saving people from XBOX's around the world look out it's PLAYSTATION MAN so XBOX beware for i'm out for hard drives or BLOOD)<-------- slogan (from ps1's to to new ps3's )

My friend had that one once and it literally turned the entire screen blue. It almost messed up his AV port from all the overheating. They sucked so hard.
 
Why would you buy it if it sucked? I mean, fans are supposed to blow. *rimshot*
 
I mean, they have to know that their product is crap. I was told by my friend that called up about his 360 getting destroyed by that thing that it's not a "microsoft endorsed product" also...
 
At least they're fixing the chip problem next year. Wasn't it supposed to bring the fail rate down from 33% to under 5% or something?
 
Really? I thought it was starting next year. Eh, either way, knowing my luck, I'll go to the store and get the one left that has the old chip.
 
Apparently they started to ship out about a week ago and are showing up in some of the Halo 360's. Actually, in any 360 that has been manufactured in the last week and on.
 
And the odds of walking into a store and finding one of these new ones? Wish I could walk into a store and get a 360, but I can't yet. Gotta wait a year. Sooo, it really doesn't affect me either way. But still. Stretching out this post so I don't hit the 45 second rule...alright, good enough.

At the moment the odds are slim. People are saying that by the end of the month the majority, if not all, will have the new chips. Don't know how accurate that is either though.
