I don't think that I should even be doing this. As a matter of fact, I shouldn't be alive! What have I done? Oh, I tell you. Don't be too shocked.

I have gone cold-turkey on my PS2. Until christmas when I get my 360. None of my freinds think I'll make it. I kinda doubt myself as well. Allot of my life has been with a console. I have my reasons for that. Getting rid of unwanted rage for instance. But I'm fed up with console for now. I started three days ago. I'm sort of ok. Can I make it?

No one knows. I guess I'll find out soon. ::D >:( :D :-X :'(
 
I've gone months on end without touching any of my consoles. Sometimes you need a vacation.

One time I was about to go four monthes, but I had a birthday and had too many cool games so I couldn't ignore it any longer

It goes for any console. Hell, i ain't even going to touch the games on my PC! (if I can help it)

Its been almost a week. I have gone a month without my console before. But that's because I had it traded in and was waiting for my next one. Nut this time. My console is just sitting there. In front of my TV. Watching. Waiting for me to crack. It mocks me. WELL IT AIN"T GOING TO MAKE ME PLAY IT! It can just sit there. Watching. Waiting. Most of my games are sitting there too. I can hear them. They call me. They taunt me! WELL I WANT LISTEN!

I am not iNsAnE! Just a little worked up. I'll be fine. I can manage it. I just gotta' focus on the objective. Not playing a console until I get my 360 for christmas!
 
If it's during the summer, it's not a big deal. There was one summer where I played video games probably once the whole season. But around winter or when there's a game that I REALLY want to play, then it's hard to ignore.
 
yeah. im kinda doing the same thing. except instead of just not playing it, im selling it. yes im selling my xbox. *tear* its hard i know. but i think im gonna sell it (all games all controllers) for 300
note there are like 20 games
 
I couldn't go without games. For one I'm too addicted, but the most important is that I'd be bored to tears. Sometimes I really wanna play VGs but I can't, and that's how most of my summer is going to be. I'm gorging now, so that when the time comes I'm gonna be totally gamed out.

There are problem. Where I am. It is Winter. But that wont stop me, nope. I'll put up with it. I must MANAGE! 'they' still mock me. But I want listen, no. I'll read or something. Or do combat training. Or continue writing my story (which would be easier if my teacher would give back by go dam friggen' rough copy!).

Oh, I the battle of the wills. I don't know how much longer I'll make it. Like I said. A console has always been there for me. Everyday. Playing videogames is like a ritural for me. What I'm doing know is breaking that link!
 
yeah seeing as im still grounded for the whole stealing thing, i might just want to put out there that i havnt played video games or PC games for about 2 months now. :o

2 months! Lets see thats: aprox 60 days, aprox 1440 hours, aprox 86400 seconds. But you have a reason. Your grounded. I'm not. I just got lost all patients for consoles of any sort since they have all been giving me the irates in some way, so I gave 'em all up till christmas. Which is still 7 months away! DAM YOU ALL TIME! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO SLOW! >:( :hh >:( :hh
 
If I only had an Xbox or a 360, i'd be able to do it easily, but with a PS2...no.

Actually I probably could with a Gamecube too, seeing as i've pretty much played everything i've wanted to play and a good game hasn't come out for it in a while.

It isn't that hard.... I got on my 360 yesterday, and realized after checknig my players list it had been 17 days since I had last gotten on. But part of that reason is PC games :D
