how far into the game are you mega?
what level, character? fill me in

Level 60, Dwarf Warrior...I am the strongest of my guild. Been playing since April 05'

just click "CHANGE REALM" on the character select and there ya go...

We are alliance btw, we can't stand the Horde..

it's your call man...go with what you would like...and dont forget to customize :) Night Elves are very popular!

Druids, Paladins, Rouges, Warlocks, Mages, Priest, Warriors, and Hunters

to break it down...
Druids = Back up Healing skills with morph abilities into Animals with a jack of all trade skills to give you a taste of all (Bears, Panthers, Sea Lions, Night Owls)
Paladins= Your basic tanks with Healing and boost skills (like armor increase for 5 minutes or something
Rouges= Stealth mode, theif like skillls, dual weild weapons at level 10
Warlocks= Have minion side-kicks that get cooler and stronger as you go higher.
Mages= Strongest magic attacks with no minions however
Priest- Risky to try these out but all they do is heal and have holy attacks, but ALWAYS needed in a party or group or raid...and seriously come in handy against the Undead. Great for praticing mult-targets to heal
Warriors- Strongest of the bunch, but cannot heal themselves, can lure away a horde or pack of enemies so your team can attack and heal you from a distance.
Hunters- Can tame live animals and use them like Minions, except you gotta feed them and they do level up just like you, very fun character to have, since it's like 2 characters you're balancing

Mages are popular...because at level 40, they'll get their own mounts for free via a quest...while others have to buy their horse/rams/etc

that's warlocks and paladins.

And for a guild wars players her'es the comparisons

WoW Warrior- GW Warrior
WoW Paladin- GW W/Mo
WoW Hunter- GW Ranger
WoW Mage- GW Elementalist
WoW Warlock- GW Necro/Mesmer
WoW Priest- GW Monk
WoW Druid- no comparison, druids can do anything, but don't do anything "the best" if you know what I mean
WoW Shaman- Like an Ele/Warrior/and Monk all rolled into one, depends on what spec you go
WoW Rogue- GW Assasin

There's a deal running at my work...idk if it's the same at ur best buy, but the one I work at, they have 60-day cards for $20.
