Interlink Electronics suing Nintendo?

Here is a lil smile for ya :)
In my latest issue of Game Informer it says that Interlink is suing Nintendo for patent infringement. They claim that the Wii mote too closely resembles their trigger operated pointing device. They are seeking a restraing order on Wii sales, damages and reimbursement of legal fees. What in the world? What dorks!

Has anyone heard anything about this?
 
Nintendo does a lot of research and development on their consoles. They probably have a patent of their own that can prove that they aren't infringing on anyone else's patents. I'm sure a lot of companies will try to hit Nintendo since the Wii is doing so well.

ya, I figure they can't possibly really have anything on them. It is really too bad that everybody wants to sue eachother all the time.
 
There's no way interlink could bring a business powerhouse like Nintendo down. When something as big as a new console is being designed there is a lot of research and legality stuff done.

Just remember, the house (nintendo) always wins!
