To help us get to know you a bit, what's the first console you ever owned, and what's your favorite videogame?

I started asking people the first question because I've begun to realize how old one has to be in order to say the NES or SNES.
 
HI! IM Legion. I pretty much have been playing games since i was 3 years old (2000) My brother had spider-man for n64 and i played the living hell out of it,after that i was experienced to a WHOLE world of games (i was naive i thought spider-man was the only game in the world) my dad had a genesis and i used to play sonic on it. Then when i was like 5 or 6 I got a GameCube, this changed my life forever... i had played and beaten so many games i have 3 MOVING boxes full of GameCube Games.
I counted them all and i have 389 GameCube Games. WELL THIS WAS JUST A LITTLE BACKSTORY OF MY LIFE THAT NOBODY CARES ABOUT :lol hope you guys like me (no homo)

Legion, that is a lot of gamecube games. Wish I had that many, tho I do have a good amount.
 
Cut the kid some slack, he's young! Don't you remember 14/15 and a lot of the guys in school talking like that. I don't think it's an insecurity as much as a electronic muscle pump or chest puff. Its verbage he'll be embarrased about a few years from now....


on second thought give it to him both barrels. I do vaguely remembering talking like that (gay jokes all the time, lots of dirty words) and if it weren't for an older more civilized crowd giving my crap for such a potty mouth I'd probably still be talking like an idiot .....

of course I wouldn't have had to waste all that money on birth control....


now I'm conflicted!

It's just a personal pet peeve of mine, really. There's nothing wrong with being gay in the first place, so when you say "no homo" so that people won't assume you're gay, it's just a little offensive to people who actually are. :)

I found it very offensive, and I prefer the opposite sex for the most part. If someone says " no red heads" "no native americans" er whatever..they are saying something really rude and hurtful whether they mean to er not and excluding a certain group of ppl. I think the person needs to clearly know that it is offensive to speak that way. For instance, my kid brother is not gay and ppl think he is gay all the time and he gets hit on by guys etc and ppl ask if he is gay too...and he does not need to go around saying "I am so super straight and don't wanna hang with no gay dudes just so u all know" er anything. He just is himself and if someone asks he says "No, sorry I'm not gay" and I dunno for sure but I bet a lot of ppl may guess that my husband is gay too, even tho he is not. I mean there is a fifty percent chance of whether they will think he is gay er not. It's not the end of the world if someone DOES think u r gay. U r who u r no matter what they feel er think. If someone thinks u r native american and u r actually mexican...u just tell them what u r or aren't when they ask, but u don't go around shouting "I am Native!!!!!" er whatever u r cuz u fear someone may mistake u for something else, unless the other thing is bad in some way...like a robber..but it is not bad, and should not be treated like it is. My lesbian cuz and her wife do not go around shouting "I am lesbian!!" to make sure no guys accidentally think they aren't...
 
Hello everyone, my name is TheMightyFlinch (Kris). I'm a complete noob here, just registered like 10 minutes ago. Excited to see what the egameaddiction site is discussing. I live in Canada and the weather is getting cold. Not sure what else to say. That is all.
