In other forums that I'm a member in, they highly discourage posting in dead topics. If you do so, you better have a good reason, or you get severely reprimanded, and if you do it too much, you get banned.

Yeah, I've been to a lot of places like that. Go ahead and post in whatever topic you want! :)
 
I'm strubes and I'm relatively new around here. I've been posting like crazy and I like putting up new topics almost every day. :D
 
Well, some topics that are sensitive to a certain time shouldn't really be touched IMO. I mean, if its something from 2 years ago and doesn't matter anymore, whats the point of posting in it. But it seems that people around actually have a reason to post. In the forum I'm involved with, some people just say "lol" just to have posts. Irritating.
 
i remember learning something about that they would sit down douse themselves in gas and lite up

they would sit there burning without moving or making a noise
 
not to offend anyone... but IMO... I don't agree with setting yourself on fire..... but hey.... if they are going to do something to protest like that, a least it is only done to themself. Unlike the terrorists blowing themselves up (along with innocent kids, other people and what-not).

Hey fred! Welcome to the boards! :D Hope to see you around here more often.

Things aren't going all that well right now. Part of my basement ceiling jus collapsed :-\. At least nothing valuable was lost, and we have insurance. ::)
