Is Halo The Most Awsome Game Ever?

i think the most awesome game ever is the one that you think is the best...... the best game in the world would never exist.. why not? because a lot of people will disagree wich is the best.

but halo 3 being awesome to me it is and i only play 3 hours every weekend XD

I don't recall that I have seen Strubes arguing with Fire$ickle. If you can provide an example I'll let what you said go; otherwise, you do need to stop acting childish and arguing/insulting your sister. I know for a fact I have personally warned you about that in the past.
Mai, he wasn't joking. I tell him to stop insulting me on my posts and stuff, but he won't stop. I'm trying to get him in trouble, but I think it's time to give me a break and Ban him for at least 3 days. And since we both share the same computer, i won't be able to get on. But I need a break anyway... Ban him if you think it's best, and don't if you don't think it's time. (And Boom, don't insult this or say anything!)

i think the halo series has a great impact on all fps's these days because of the things it brought to the table. motion sensor, dual wielding, regenerating health, and extremely well balanced multiplayer

those were all in FPSs in it before it

Motion Sensor: James Bond games and UT and Counter Strike
Dual Wielding: James Bond games and UT and Counter Strike
Regenerating Health: Quake 3 and UT
Balanced Multiplayer: UT, Battlefield games, and James Bond

halo WAS the impact from FPS games everything else built halo

the motion sensor in halo only shows people when they are moving, which adds strategy to the game. by dual wielding, i meant two DIFFERENT weapons in each hand, which has never been done before. by regenerating health, i mean the shielding system, which you have to take down to kill someone. and balanced multiplayer might have been done before, but it was perfected in halo 2.

weapon balancing was maybe not perfected in halo 2, but brought darn close to it in halo 3. same with vehicles. and all the maps were designed to be fair for both sides, or to make it fun like one team defends and one attacks. its all done quite phenomenally

I agree.

ima break it down piece by piece. the motion sensor in halo does in fact only show when people are moving, but as does games like Agent Under Fire, Unreal 2, AND 2004, and even stupid games like conquer the squirrel. as for Dual wielding, again, the bond games have been doing that for centuries, and i seem to believe that there are mods on guns in unreal and stuff like that, to make it 2 guns in 1, without taking away your ability to nade or function like a normal person, which in my view is better than dual wielding, the shields, theres shields in billions of games and you have to recharge them through sitting still or going to a charging platform or getting a power pack, halo just copied a few traits from each, and don't even think for a second that you have to TAKE DOWN a shield, what about stickies, swords, rockets, snipers, headshots in general, or even the new grav hammer? that seems to be all 1 hit, leaving the shield completely useless to you, and don't even think for one second that halo 3 has a balanced multiplayer, the first time i got online i was playing with people that had ranks through the roof and like 2,000 won games, if i were actually a noob, how would that be balanced? and if you mean balanced in maps, the maps are unfair and glitchy in every way, random rock formations and stuff like that are used at strat points, not evening out the playing field. the vehicles make it impossible to play an actual game when you have a noob zooming around in a **** banshee like in bloodogultch, theres 2 stickys on that map and they respawn like every 2 minutes, thats a load of banshee kills, halo just stole the best of everything and made a half way decent game

my rant of the day

Here's a common misconception. Instead of reading through your lengthy paragraph...I went straight to the bottom to see what I knew you were going to say: "Halo stole!!!!" , pretty much. A game like this borrows the best of each game before it and creates a magnificent blend. No game has had everything Halo has had, and therefor Halo stands out. Sure, some games may have regeneration, dual wielding (to an extent) and shields and stuff, but Halo brought all this stuff together. I'm just taking it you're not good at Halo 3. You said the first time you got online you were playing with people who had ranks through the roof. I'm taking it you were in Social matches. I'm also taking it you had some pretty good players on your team. It's set up to make the matches equal. It doesn't falter, so you can't say it's unfair...or you're just downright lying. And the maps being unfair and glitchy...lol I don't even think I need to address that. None of us have had a problem. :lol

Sure, you don't like Halo. That's great and all, but get your facts straight before you go bashing a series that broke gaming history.

Yeah, but that was far from the first time we had seen multiplayer like that. Multiplayer games like Battlefield, Quake, and Unreal Tournament had incredibly well balanced multiplayer before Halo 2, or 3, as well as the whole attack defend thing.

Yeah, but he never said Halo started balanced multiplayer.

Who cares how many times you've seen something happen in a game? Really. :lol
