Is it just me... or have things gone quiet?

I'm not so sure because I haven't actually been about for almost a month, but last I was here the forums seemed more filled than it seems to be at the moment... I've been here for a bit over two years now, and this seems he quietest it's ever been.

So is it the holiday season making things quiet? Or are we so low on time and nw active members that the forum just aint' what it used to be? Or am i just over thinking this?
 
Well, it seems like all the main members that used to post have almost all stopped posting much at all......

But hopefully we will get back on the ball soon here! :)
 
Well, due to a miscommunication with Verizon, I am without internet until mid-December. So I'm stuck relying on internet cafes and the generosity of friends until then. :(

I get lost when I don't have access to the internet.

Seriously, so much of my day revolves around having instant access to any kind of information I want. Finding phone numbers, business hours, keeping up with friends via e-mail, facebook, checking news, downloading podcasts, watching TV... without it I just don't know what to do.
 
With work actually picking up (odd, but someone told me the economy was in the toilet), and my youngest boy getting really active. And my oldest playing games more than I do, It's tough to play, and then post up about things I am playing.

As for others being active, I miss reading Hines' posts. I wish he'd come back. And it seems that lately the chat room has been empty. I blame others. Slackers. :lol

Whoa.... bummer. :(

The real world responsibilities have crept in on me and I am limited on time to set down to the net. The manufacturing sector around here has really taken a hard hit from the economical slowdown. So, everytime they ask me to work, I say yes. Many departments at my workplace are only working two, three days a week. which is "Ouch" for many. I know that one department will be out all of December. One area came to work yesterday and they turned them away at the clock, telling to come back after Thanksgiving. Some had driven a lot of miles and was a little angry.

I feel for you. A day without internet is unbearable for me, almost a month and I would be reduced to skin and bones.

I agree actually. Even though some subjects were iffy it was more interesting with him here.

I agree.

I do think, however, that if Hines were to read this he may be surprised by it. When he was here there were a lot of times people made it seem like he wasn't wanted. Not pointing fingers, I just got that impression from a lot of people back in the day.

When/why did he leave? I don't remember if he had a reason for leaving or if he just got bored. :P
 
He told me it was kinda just time to move on. At least that's what I think he told me. I can't remember for sure. I'll ask him next time he's on AIM.

The last time I saw him on here he had told us his best friends girl friend killed herself. So, I imagine he has been dealing with that. But, yea, he is definitely a member I would like to see come back.
