Is PS3 worth it?

Should I get a PS3?

If u look at the controller for each console u can feel and see the differences. The 360 has a controller that works with FPS the best. As for the PS3 it feels right when u play other types of genres.

What Im trying to say is that u should get a 360 if ur an all out FPS kind of guy. And PS3 for everything else

RPGS for the ps3 because we all know that the ps3 is gonna end up being like the ps2 (the RPG master).

Actually, by the end of 2001, the PS2 already had Dark Cloud, and Final Fantasy, among others. The PS3, on the other hand has...well, none, unless you would consider Folklore an RPG.

I guess the PS3 will still have Square supporting it, but I'm just saying we're seeing more RPG's on other, non-Sony consoles. I doubt Sony will have the near monopoly over RPG's they had last generation.
 
No console really has RPG's..at least not enough to make you look twice.

All in all, get the PS3. With this last update, it's truly a remarkable console. :)

I think the 360 has quite a few. Blue Dragon was quite good, and Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, and Fable 2 are all coming.
 
The 360 doesn't have much at all. Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata...care to name others? I mean, some are coming, but so are great RPG's for the PS3 as well, most notably White Knight Chronicles.
 
I don't see me getting it for a few years. It's too expensive and I'm completely satisfied with what I have right now.

If you're big on RPGs and i dunno, Adventures maybe? (*doesn't have a clue what's on the upcoming list for PS3*) get the PS3; however, if you're really into FPS and the 360 does have a few good RPGs right now, then get that instead. It's all personal preference.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think I read something that says this game is on the back burner for the forseeable future..?

As for the PS3, I am content with my PS2 right now. There are still a huge amount of games I have yet to try. That and I can't see paying the equivalent of one month's mortgage value on a console. I'll wait until it's a wee bit less expensive...
 
I found the sole reason for buying a PS3 as soon as I have the coin. Assassin's Creed. That game looks freaking awesome!!!
 
Assassin's Creed is on 360, though. As for the poll, I voted no. It's not worth it now. It has a maybe three good games, and none of them are good enough to warrant a purchase of the PS3. Wait a few years while the price drops and it gets good games.
 
You're right. I saw the commercial a few minutes ago, and it had the Playstation logo on it. They just played another commercial that was completely different than the last with the 360 logo on it... Either way, it look cool.
 
Oh, and for the games i eat noobs pointed out. MGS4 won't be around for another seven months or so, and FFXIII won't be around for another few years.
