Really? Most people you know hate the gamecube?
Most people I know have a lot of fun with it. They just choose to buy other systems for some reason.

Yeah I know but most are like the ones that I mentioned. They think it's too kiddy and dont give the games a chance. It's one thing to play them and not like them. But it's another to make ignorant decisions because it's not popular.

Man... sit down with Paper Mario... its a killer game.
Wind breaker waker... is a killer game.

there are TONS of great games.. and no one gives them the time of day. Oh well.. their loss.

In your opinions there are a ton of great games. I myself have had more fun on the Xbox than I've had on the Gamecube, and I've played all the "great games" you guys mentioned. I don't think people are as "ignorant" as you guys seem to think, they just don't like the same games you guys do.
 
Thats what im saying. If you played it and didnt like it then fine. But if you just disregard it and claim its not any good just because it isnt popular then thats being a little ignorant. Ive barely played any x-box games but you wont here me saying that the system sucks.
 
I dont thats why in my original post I said probably. Just making an assumption of why they might not like it. Not actually saying that that was the actual reason. My opinion is that a lot of people today just go with whats popular and follow the crowd. If they want to do that thats fine but I believe thats a very dumb reason to.

and I didn't see any "probably"'s in there. The popular belief here seems to be that the gamecube is unpopular because people are ignorant. Well to me that's a pretty ignorant point of view in itself.

The one you are referring to was my second post. The one above is my original post. And I said most not all. Im also referring to personal experience Ive heard plenty of people say that the gamecube is too kiddy or not as cool as an x-box or a PS2 cuz the PS2 has GTA and xbox has Halo, etc.. They dont give the gamecube an actual chance. And im not going by what the popular belief is here. Thats just how I feel and have felt since before I joined. I know that not everyone feels like that. Again if thats how they want to judge a system, or a game for that matter, then fine im not going up to them and saying, "hey you guys are ignorant give the game a chance." Because in the end thats their choice. I just feel that its dumb to make a decision like that. All of my posts have been referring to the people that are like the ones I mentioned it. It doesnt reflect all the people that dont like the gamecube.

I think that pretty much sums up my point. What you said about "most of the people" actually just means people you've had personal experience with, which represents an extremely tiny segment of the people who chose other systems over the Gamecube. Either way, the Gamecube is aimed at younger audiences (or aimed at "everyone" which means about the same thing as a "general audiences" rating for a movie) so it would be a fair assessment to choose another system over the gamecube because it was "kiddy".

Now, as for this issue with "the bomb". I believe it is still used in some social circles, but the connotation has changed to "da bomb" to help give it a hip hop vibe. :D
