Applications have swept the market with the iPhone/iPod touch, and I'm here to tell you which ones you should get, and which to avoid. Feel free to discuss throughout the topic. I will update this topic as much as I can, as soon as I can.
To get:
Backgrounds - This a great little app that allows you to select from a multitude of backgrounds to set to your iPhone, with sections such as Animals, Funny, For Guys, Games, Scary, and much more.
Coin Toss - Well, this is probably the most basic app that you can get. Just flick your finger across the screen and it'll come up as either heads or tails. You'll never need another coin!
Zippo lighter - This is a nifty little toy to show off to your iPhone-deprived friends. Flick your phone and flick the switch and it'll light up, just like a regular lighter. Blow into the mic and the flame will even move for you.
Fart - Ok, this one is just funny. There is 16 different fart noises for you to choose from, each with their own different sound. Fun in class/work.
Fortune - Pretty interesting if you like to read a fortune daily. Good little quotes.
Google Earth - A compact version of Google's geographic location finder (ok, that description is little botched up, but w/e).
Myspace - This is a must for anybody who has a myspace. It lets you do just about anything you could do on the computer.
Tap Tap Revenge - Great, fun music game for the iPhone/iPod touch. If you're a fan of Guitar Hero or have played it before, then you will enjoy this game thoroughly. It gets tougher than you think though. Not only do you need to press the right buttons, but you must also shake the device in the direction of the arrows that come up frequently.
Mini piano - Eh, this one is sort of lacking in the sense that it's too small. Only a very small portion of the piano is shown, leaving the tunes you can play to be very simplistic. Good for messing around though.
Lightsaber - Very fun app to show your friends. Control a lightsaber of your choosing and swing your device around and hear the sounds of sabers clashing together.
Shotgun - Another one of those cool apps to show off. Pull down then up to Rooster the shotgun, and jerk your hand back (as if your were firing a pistol) and the gun will go off. Very simple, but fun.
AIM - The free version of the AIM for your device; it allows you to chat with anybody from your AIM list. Very efficient for AIM users.
Copter - Probably my favorite game for the iPhone. Just like the famous internet game, tap on the screen to go higher and traverse obstacles to avoid crashing. Simple, yet highly addicting.
