Hi Everyone,

I recently acquired "GTA IV" for the PS3,and I have about 13 hours of solid gaming time.Maybe it's way too early to judge the game, but as it stands, graphics aside,I like "GTA:San Andreas" better. My brother said to me "...Are you crazy? "GTA IV" is the newest,it has to be better than San Andreas!..."

I'm thinking to myself, that's not always true.Ultimately,it boils down to preference I guess.I'm interested to know what your take on the subject is.

God bless

MY APOLOGIES TO THE MODS,I MEANT TO PUT THIS TOPIC IN THE RIGHT SPOT,I MADE A MISTAKE

What are your reasons for liking SA better? I do agree though that newer is not always better.

Hi x2! Thank you for taking the time to read this.A couple of the reasons I think that "GTA:San Andreas" is better is because it had more of a personal touch, sort of like an rpg there is more clothing stores,I find the driving easier, and so far,I find that "GTA IV" doesn't seem to have as much dialogue. In all fairness though,I haven't logged in as much hours with "GTA IV" as I have San Andreas.

So,I'll give "GTA IV" some more game time,to sort of give it a chance to pick up before I pass judgement.

They're completely different games, and I love each GTA game as much as another. Each generation of GTA is focused on something different, and I feel as though they accomplish their goals quite nicely (though some of the stuff in GTA:SA is unnecessary---I want to play a GTA game to cause epic chaos, not to manage my character like one of The Sims and constantly feed, nurture, play with, etc. him).

I also love Saint's Row, and am anxiously awaiting Saint's Row 2 for PC.
