Just My Opinion...Don't "Bite My Head Off"

Hi all!

I know it's easy for me to ask some questions as opposed to answering them, but I'm intrigued with Obama's administration. Is there any particular reason why he just can't withdraw all of his troops and let the other countries fight it out.

With "9/11" and previous attempts by terrorists to turn the USA and it's lifestyle upside down,I can understand why there is much hatred towards terrorists.Being Canadian, and certainly no expert on politics,I can only imagine how livid and scared Americans must feel.

Is this war ever going to stop?I'm sure you've heard people say.."Just send a "Nuke" over there and wipe all the ******* out, thus eliminating the source of this problem, but something tells me if you kill all these terrorists and "Madmen" leaders, there will always be some truly eager replacements just dying to take over, let alone the poor innocent souls that would be dispatched.

I probably won't make any friends saying this, but I feel bad for Obama.Yes he knew what he was getting into when he ran for President, but the cat is still human,no?Again, being a Canadian,I guess I can't possibly appreciate the American's truly dire problems, but they're certainly way better off than other countries.

We in North America are blessed with what we have.If we feel hungry we order a pizza,if we need to blow off steam,we go out "Clubbing",if we break our arm we have hospitals. In Canada we have "Medicare" and I can't tell you how much some Canadians are constantly ******* about out the problems with it.

I hope no Americans take offense this, but I'm willing to bet my bottom dollar that Obama and quite possibly other people with the amount of stress he's enduring haven't shed a few tears a bedtime, until they fall asleep. Not very many people realize that no matter how tough or charismatic and strong they appear, and in most cases having to be for the people they lead, they're still human.

I remember a while ago I was playing a game of chess with one the stronger players in the club. When pieces are exchanged they are placed off to the side of the board.I,and many other players have a habit of looking at these pieces to see how many of your pieces he has taken and how many of his you've taken.

He noticed me looking to the side of the board, and said.."Jason, look at what's on the board..not what is off".Perhaps we as people we should remember the many, many other truly wonderful things we HAVE..

Peace.
Kaz

Let's see, I am an American and I am not scared of terrorists one bit. And yes I agree that a lot of us have it better then we know. But...don't forget America has A LOT of problems, too. We have a very serious crime/gang issue that is getting worse by the minute, poverty, loss of jobs, corruption, and the list goes on and on. It's easy for outsiders {not meaning you particularly} to think America is this amazing place where everybody has great lives but it's not until you live here and deal with the crime and see the homeless and sick everywhere that you know that's not the case. For me personally, I think more focus needs to be put on fixing our Country over worrying about terrorism and what other Countries are doing.

Hey x2!
I have absolutely no idea how rough it is for your people, because I don't live there. That's why I said that being Canadian, and being no expert in politics,I could "Only Imagine"what it must be like.

Oh yea without a doubt. This is a good Country for the most part, but it has plenty of bad and you could get killed just as easily here as in any other part of the world.

Erm, well I had John McCain help me on this one.....because we would have nothing to show for it...the Taliban have regeneration capabilities beyond US Military technology is capable of. They regenerate like bunny viruses! :P You must kill off every single last one and then de-corrupt Afgan government.
