man i realized something.... in this game you don't have to look for 4 heart pieces once you finish as sidequest the NPC gives you a whole heart.
i guess this is because it's more important to find the power gems than the hearts

Really? There are no Pieces of Hearts? That sort of alarms me, considering that collecting them has always been a favorite part of mine in Zelda games...

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

Yeah, no Pieces of Heart, just like in the first Zelda. Just full Containers.

Awesome. I always wished they would go back to that instead of making you look for pieces.

collect the force gems is just as fun as collecting hearts, belive me there are 60 force gems to find the usual 20 hearts, the usual item expansions, and ship parts
i don't know if there's other kind of sidequest though i'll have to play a little more

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

darn it does anyone has a tip to get the 2000 points in the #$^#$^ shooting minigame?

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

I like it. If I were to buy it, knowing everything I know now...I would wait until it was $20 or cheaper. It's ok though.

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

I'm still too poor to afford this. I need $25 more. ;; All the hype hit me when it actually came out.

EDIT: Zomg, Strubes likes a Zelda game!

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

Yeah, it didn't reach my expectations, but it's solid none the less. It was their first Zelda game on the DS so you really can't blame them.

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

What was the first Zelda on the SNES? Or the N64?

A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, respectively. Often called some of the greatest games ever. First attempts aren't always bad.

It'll probably be the last too, being the DS has been out for 3 1/2 years...who knows, maybe they'll fit one more in, but I'm guessing the next one's on the Nintendo QS.

And I just have to repeat something: ZOMG!!!! STRUBES LIKED A ZELDA GAME!!! :o

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

I just ordered Phantom Hourglass through Walmart online. Yay!!!! Me happy. :D ::D

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

@Cherry, you took my idea. But seriously, the next Nintendo handheld is having Threeaxis. *hopes for Kirby: Tilt and Tumble sequel*

:lol Yeah, surprise surprise.

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

For the record, the DS has only been out since November '04. And I think it will have a pretty long life. The Gamecube got three Zeldas, and the first came about two years after launch.

Re: Legend of Zelda Phatnom Hourglass

I believe the DS will have a long life too. I don't like the looks of the new Threeaxis game boy or whatever. It looks stupid. Hopefully they'll just keep the DS for a few more years.
