I saw the first lego star wars game at a game store used, but I had never read about if it was good or not.

I read some about the second one on Gamespot, but 40 bucks is a lot, if I don't know what the game is like.

Does it have a steep learning curve?

i played them on PS2. they were my little cousins games so i figured it was gonna be kiddy. but i started playing and i liked it. it had pretty simple controls and it was very easy to learn. to me it was kinda like playing the regular spiderman 1 and 2 games for xbox then playing ultimate spiderman. it switched to comic book style. well this star wars switches to lego style. its worth the buy.
 
i got the xbox 360 version for $15

its a fun game, but if you dont have people or controllers to play co-op with, dont spend more than $20 on it.
 
It gave you no help on the puzzles that made no sense, though.
