you should get a new ds, it is covered in the warrenty, i was gonna keep mine with the dead pixel, wait until 1 month before the warranty expired then get another 1, the perfect ideal
You do know they can view all the times you've submitted a problem, right?

Yeah, and I do know that they probably have my name listed at least 3 times in the system because their systems all have broke on me in other devious ways (motherboard that cracked, hinge that cracked, DS that had the entire top screen fall off, dead pixel) They need to get better engineers and figure out more sturdier material.

How would you break the motherboard? And almost, but just like your lawsuit thing, you really need to do some research. Nintendo products are known for being indestructible. Like this one: http://www.poptherapy.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/bombed-gameboy.jpg

Nintendo is the one that sent me back the paper with my Wii that said that the Motherboard had not only malfunctioned and broke. Clearly mine Wii and mine DS were not as indestrublice as the "bombed gameboy" would lead us to believe about their current line of products. There are countless videos on youtube with similar Wiis that have had the same problem as mine with problematic motherboards. (artefacting*) I dont think I need to reference the hinge problem issue that was spread among owner of the 1st set of Polar White DS Lites.

You don't really understand...well, anything about major companies, so I won't even bother.

I didnt even mention anything a lawsuit, all I was saying was that the warranty permits you sending a DS back for a dead pixel and it is included in the warranty, which last for a year. They sent me a replacement one with a broken pixel and a NEW one year warranty. So I could just wait until month 11 of 12 and send it back to them for yet another replacement DS. I wouldnt be breaking no rules and only following up with the warranty. I dont see what your issue with this is. I did it, it worked.

Yes, but they can see what you've done, and I'm sure it would be so hard to figure out your 'plan', and they can just say no to you.

I dont see what the issue is here. They send faulty equipment thus I get it. You are covered for a dead pixel for one year. Supposely their replacement units were repaired. The ones who repaired it must not have fixed the pixel, thus it isnt my fault they sent me faulty equipment. What If I send it in a month. Im going to experience being without a DS for two more weeks, then they sent me yet another grainy screened ds with dead pixel and I wait two more weeks. Pfft. Whether I get it sent back to them immediately or in month 11, I am still playing in all rules. Plus it is online an an automatic system anyway, or I can talk to the lady on the phone either way, they wouldnt deny me even after my third faulty product from them.

Honestly, have you even sent anything back to Nintendo to have a valid point to force this issue upon me on? If I spent 129 dollar for a product I expect it to last for that 1 year period. I can easily just but more DS Lites, but I at least want one to work. The reason I upgraded from Polar White to Black and Blue is because I didnt want to go back through and experience the issue with yet another faulty polar white. Buying a new one solves all the problems in that. I will just buy this Pokemon one because simply put I can buy it and why keep something that is now 9 or 10 months old?

I'm on my third DS Lite and second Wii. All I'm saying is because of the obvious trend you've had in your systems, Nintendo can easily turn you down the next time you attempt it.

is just a dead pixel for gods sake is not a huge big of a deal >__>
Seriously, I have tons lining my bottom screen and I can only see them when the screen's black, so I don't care. :/

For mine it was in the dead center of the screen. At first, yeah Im fine with it, but after a while and seeing a pixel that stays lime green the entire time your playing becomes a hassle. If I bought a 72 inch flat panel tv and had a dead pixel in it, would I keep it with that malfucntion, no I wouldnt it, I spent good money for a product that I want to be good. If you bought a computer and it had some glaring issue (such as a missing P key on the keyboard) would you keep it, most likely not. Likewise, if I bought a DS that had a dead pixel dead center, would I keep it, no I wouldnt. I paid, I value the worth of the product and I want a nice product, thus I use the warranty to get one.

I wouldnt do it after the third try cause after that point and still receiving a faulty equipment, I would just buy a new DS lite and hope that works, as I did and it has. Saved me time, phone call/internet time, and I got an even more better beautiful looking colored DS Lite.

But really. Pixels are insanely small and one can't even be seen unless you specifically look for it.

It was easy to find it, playing a GBA game (pokemon fire red) was a sure fire way to find it, every single battle it was glaring at me like a dart in the bulls eye of a magnificent dart board. And yes they can be seen quite bluntly when they are in the dead center, why else would they have it in the warranty?

I don't see why you guys are arguing. You both are right. Starry is right about the warranty, if someone is bothered by a pixel it is in the warranty they can get their problem fixed. Then again not too many people worry about pixels so fhq I see where you Zi are saying it doesn't matter. I really don't see where this argument is going ot why it needed to be started in the first place.

Stop the arguing, it's completely pointless and both of you are right in your own way.

But back on topic, the DS looks cool. If mine ever breaks soon I will probably get this one.
If you wanna be cool, buy a pink one. That's a man's color.

You know I almost bought a pink Cadillac once. I didn't have enough money and it needed way too much work.
All it needs is a paint job(still pink, mind you), and it can sit in your garage, and you'll still be manlier than your neighbors.
